I've stayed here several times before, and they consistently deliver a friendly service, have clean & very comfortable rooms, and are brilliantly located.

The breakfasts tend to be pretty good with a variety of choices for vegetarians and even vegans (if requested in advance).

I'm looking forward to staying here again.

Stayed in the Holiday Inn Chester Racecourse following my Sons Wedding, I had my young Grandson with me who woke very early, I took him down stairs so he did not disturb any other guests. The Staff where very good and arranged some warm milk for him and offered to make toast for him. The hotel was clean and comfortable and if you are visiting chester close to the walls, shops and the racecourse.

Located next to the racecourse with easy parking. The room was clean comfortable and quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful, went out of their way to give us (2 couples) rooms near each other. We were happy with what was available for breakfast. Nothing to complain about.
The town centre is within walking distance. The wall around the city is very close and I recommend a walk around it.

This hotel is so well placed for visiting the race course and is only a very short walk to the town and restaurants galore. You are spoiled for choice in Chester. Only down side for hotel and it is not only the Chester holiday inn: is the lack of space for hanging clothes, more especially if you have long dresses they have to rest on the shelf as they have not allowed enough room for them to hang free, which causes them to get creased. However the staff were attentive and helpful , and the view was magnificent looking out over they race course.

Room Tip: 3rd floor gives great view over race course.

Very small room with small bed. very basic considering price paid. not the best breakfast, barely warm, tasteless, not a very good selection and the coffee from the machine awful. ideal location for the racecourse and centre with good parking.

We asked for a quiet room, and again didn't get it!
We had noisy neighbours, and were woken by contractors using power tools first thing on Saturday morning.
We did ring down to reception who asked them to stop, but this was too late!
The noise from these 'jobbers' was appalling, just who booked this crew ?!
Along with a breakfast that was luke warm UHT milk and people all standing around the toasters - never again........

A great hotel in a superb location out of but near to the town centre. Breakfast was pretty good and we actually like self service! The room was well appointed if basic. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Room Tip: Our room, 302, was near to the railway so there was a little overnight noise.
