My partner and I visited cotton farm
for a relaxing break and Cotton Farm was the perfect place for this.
We stayed in the garden room which had a lovely view of the garden. The room and bathroom was very spacious and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and also had an electric blanket which was nice as it was pretty cold in February.
The rooms have drink making facilities aswell as tea bags, hot chocolate etc. also biscuits were put in the room daily when the room was cleaned.
The hosts were lovely and very welcoming. Clare cooked a beautiful breakfast made with local produce. We opted for the Full English which I'd recommend. But if that isn't your taste there was plenty to choose from, including fruits yoghurt and cereal.

There's a folder in the room which details local places to eat, places if interest and walks around the farm. During our stay we walked to walk mill; which produces flour that's used at cotton farm to make the bread. There was a lovely cafe there and you could see the working mill. I was lucky enough to be there in lambing season so on the walk we saw lots of cute lambs :)

I cannot fault Cotton Farm and would defiantly recomend it. You get the peacefulness of the country side and yet chester centre is only 15 min drive away.

If your thinking of visiting font hesitate, book it now as you couldn't possibly be disappointed.

Cotton Farm with its warm welcome, attentive and friendly hosts, is not only outstanding but also value for money. So it was just the right calm and relaxing setting after a roller coaster day of each way bets at Chester Races and an antidote to intensive business discussions over the race card. The bedroom was extremely comfortable and spacious and the bathroom immaculate. "You can even see the stars at night," said my partner. "We rarely see them in South London." Our hosts recommended various options nearby for a wholesome evening meal and we felt spoiled for choice.

Cotton Farm is a truly unique setting - the electric blanket suggests it may be chilly in winter but who cares this was September. One nice touch was the gratis small decanter of sherry and the cheerful pillow cases. And then one thing lead to another...

Unfortunately only stayed for one night while visiting Carfest.
Warm welcome from the owner, great countryside location just a short drive from Chester, stayed in a lovely large double room with very comfy bed, tea/coffee making facilities, immaculate large ensuite, exellent and beautifully presented breakfast with options for every taste.
Plenty of helpfull advice from the owner on local walks and where to eat in the locality, Chester park and ride close by.
One of those Tripadvisor finds you would like to keep a secret!

We stayed at the beautiful Cotton Farm for one night over the bank holiday weekend as we had decided on a last minute break away.

It was booked with ease via their website where a deposit was taken for the room.

The location is great if you want to be close to Chester but still enjoy the peace and quiet of a countryside setting. The park and ride that we used to explore Chester was only about a 10 minute drive away.

Both the owners were very welcoming during our stay. We stayed in the Blue Room which was very spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Even the bathroom was big!

There is a folder in the room with details of things to do in the area and information about the B&B. As the weather was lovely we decided to enjoy the circular walking route (approx 30 mins).

Based on recommendations from the owners we dined at ‘The Plough’ in Christleton which is about a mile away. We enjoyed the lovely pub food and retired early to the B&B to make the most of the complimentary robes and sherry provided in our room!

The room included lots of extras, such as books, magazines, tea, coffee, water and biscuits, complimentary toiletries, torch (we didn’t need this though!), free wifi and Freeview TV, to name a few.

Breakfast was really yummy – you choose what you would like from a selection the night before. We both had the English breakfast, as we were keen to try the local bacon, sausages and eggs. It did not disappoint! There was cereal, fruit and yoghurt available as well.

We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend it. Hopefully it won’t be long until we visit again.

Room Tip: Blue room (inc bathroom) is very large and comfortable.

Such an amazing little B & B in Chester, not in the centre but only 10 minutes away. The great zoo is 20 minutes drive. The delightful owners really care about your stay and that everything is perfect. We took over all 3 rooms, which was very convenient. The breakfast menu was really lovely as well as the additional fruit, yoghurt and cereal. The pillows and duvets were to die for! I'd return for a week tomorrow. Because we took all 3 rooms our 4 year old was able to come too. Ample bird watching in the garden even 3 woodpeckers were spotted in 1 morning.

Room Tip: Pick the larger double room with the enormous bathroom!!!

This was the 2nd time we have stopped at Cotton Fam, and once again we had a wonderful stay.
We received a warm welcome on arrival, and shown to the room that we had chosen - the garden room. Our room was clean and very spacious with a good selection of drinks available in the room - including a small decanter of sherry! In the morning we were able to choose which time we wanted our breakfast at, and it was cooked freshly using home raised eggs. It was wonderfully tasty and plentiful and a huge selection of breakfast options.
A fantastic B&B ideally located for visiting Chester and with opportunities for local walks around the farm. Very relaxing and highly recommended - I'm sure we will be back...

We decided to have a last minute break away to visit Chester, and wanted to find a place to stay that was 'out of town'. Looking at the reviews on tripadvisor, we picked out Cotton Farm and it was everything we had hoped for.

To sum it up in a nutshell, if you are looking for a peaceful tranquil retreat, with all the little luxuries you might want - Cotton Farm is the one. Excellent in everyway, we particularly liked the sherry in the bedroom and watching the woodpecker and squirrels feeding.

Room Tip: We chose to stay in the Garden Room - and what a good choice that was. The bathroom was huge, quali...
