A really interesting and beautifully kept park with young lads dressed as Roman soldiers and demonstrating to children how battles were won and lost in Roman days, well worth seeing and a lovely spot to stop and have your lunch with plenty of seating areas. Kids will love the interaction and dressing up.

There are still some artefacts here but I really think more could be made of them. The walls show more about the civil war than the roman ruins

Very interesting visit -small gardens but lots to see and read about -even how the Romans had underfloor heating fascinating.
There is a lovely section of seats where you can just rest or even have a picnic whilst taking in the site.
you can drop off to visit here whilst walking the walls.

Quite a nice garden but the Roman ruins were found else where and are now displayed in this garden. Combine the visit with a walk around the wall. I wouldn't suggest going out of your way to see it.
