We enjoyed our stay, really wanted to stay nearer Chester centre, however this hotel was close enough to walk about 20-25 minutes or a short taxi ride, shouldn't need to pay more than £5.00. The car park was free to hotel patrons so is a bonus. Our only real negative was that we were on the ground floor and as soon as the guests above got up we heard every step they were making, therefore when they got up, so did we!! The restaurant attached to the hotel is good value with 2 for 1 meals etc. so in many ways ideal for those on a budget or with children. The cooked breakfast is OK but we thought the continental was better and during our 2 night stay there were no hash browns, which rather contradicted the sign in the bedrooms which read; 'you wanted hash browns, we got them!!' We had 'Eat all you want' we were able to experience both. The staff were all really friendly and all in all we had a great stay.

Room Tip: Don't book a ground floor room as the floors above are creaky and you get woken when the people...

Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback on you recent stay at Chester Central North.
My apologies for the disappointment you felt with Premier `all you can eat` breakfast. We have just introduced a brand new breakfast menu, of which hash browns is a new addition. Unfortunately we experienced some issues for a couple of days obtaining these from our suppliers. This has now been rectified.
I am pleased however that you found our staff friendly and enjoyed your stay with us, we always endeavour to make our guests happy and we hope to welcome you back in the future.

We paid £34 a night and it was value for money. Short taxi ride into Chester, taxi fare £4. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful; Rooms had everything you needed for a short break ;Free car parking; good pub grub next door; Morrison's opposite. Will certainly stay here again.

We chose this because it wasn't city centre but was close enough to walk in, had parking, was next to a pub, superstore and railway station, was a brand we knew and had never had any problems with. It came fully up to expectations. Also we got a bargain rate!

This accomodation was as you would expect from PI, clean, modern, simple but perfectly adequate. Room was clean and tidy as was the bathroom. Lots of spare towels and pillows if required and heating easy to adjust. Night porter in particular was very friendly and pleasant. Breakfasts, although extra, were 'eat all you want' and my partner certainly did - and more! Wanted somewhere just outside of city because of parking costs and this fitted the bill. We walked in and out at night (about 20 mins) but there is a train station nearby with a single at £1.20 into the city station and buses outside the hotel. Great base for exploring the Wirrel or the city. Also lots of 'real ale' pubs in city.

Its always tough to add value to a Premier Inn review, everything is as standard and rooms were as always clean and tidy. I stayed for two nights on business and had a fine stay in the hotel.

The next door pub restaurant is called the Egerton arms and I think is a Fayre and Square brand and was truly fantastic, the staff couldn't do enough for me and food was hot, tasty and great value, I had steak one night and chicken the next, neither meal cost more than £8 and were both cooked to perfection and served with a smile.

Id stay there again even if it was just for the food!!!!

Room Tip: Make sure you eat next door!!!!!

Stayed here for just one night but wished we had booked for 2 nights. We just wanted a short break after the hectic xmas season. The location was great with a good bus service into the city centre just across the road takes only 5 mins and runs every 10 to 15 mins in both directions. The staff were really helpful with good local knowledge the pub next door was as we expected food was perfectly acceptable pub grub and after a full day in Chester suited our needs as we didnt want to venture back into the city. We didnt have the breakfast but instead opted to have it across the road at Morrisons a wide choice and served very quickly all in all a lovely peaceful break with a lovely warm comfy room. We will be back especially if we manage to get another deal worth every penny of the £29 we paid. Well done Premier Inn
