I booked for two nights for this stay, it was reasonable good, staff are welcome and warm, provided a good service you asked for. There pillows are my favourite! If they have an additional socket beside the bedside desk that would be very considerable for their customer at this so called Digital Information Age.

Premier Inn may be no frills but the standard here was just as you would expect. It is a bit hard to find and badly signed being tucked away and not on the main road for the entrance. Restaurant a bit disappointing.

Booked here for an overnight on Christmas Day night as there was no room at the in with relatives nearby in upton. We were just to use it for sleep and breakfast as it was well situated for our needs. We checked in easily in the afternoon and went to our relatives and returned around midnight and prepared for bed. Unfortunately the guests above on the next floor we're doing the same and the noise of a cracking floor was terrible luckily we had similar intentions and soon the noise ceased and we went to sleep we were woken regularly by the thermostat and heating clicking on and off. We were due to get up at eight am for breakfast but unfortunately our upstairs companions were up and about at seven, and that was the end of our sleep for that evening.

We went for breakfast in the pub next door which was fine especially enhanced by Janet who was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble, thank you.

On checking out I mentioned the noise from the floor and our disturbed night, not expecting any action whatsoever as I had had worse nights in city hotels. To my amazement , without any hesitation I was offered a full refund of the room rate which was credited to my account within a couple of hours

So thank you premier in for sticking by your guarantee that if you don't have a good nights sleep they will refund you.

I will continue to use and support premier inns as I believe you provide a reasonable standard of accommodation, good breakfasts for a reasonable price.

The staff in general in all premier inns seem committed to making their guests stay as comfortable as a hotel stay can be , thank you

Room Tip: Not number sixteen on ground floor it's noisy from above!!!

Booked this Premier Inn months ago to stay 2 nights planning to do Christmas Shopping in Chester. We were given Room No1 at the Reception Entrance, asked if I could change rooms, but was told that the hotel was full. The room was warm and tidy on arrival, my son found hairs under the bed covers when going to bed, so I had to check and brush both beds after inspection, found more. A disturbed sleep throughout the night with people coming and going at reception. The Bathroom Fan was very noisy, and was on a 10 minute overide delay after switching the light off, this woke everyone. you could hear the adjoining room using the toilet, and above room with people walking throughout the night. Overall, not a good experience at this hotel compared with the City Centre. We only Stayed the 1 night instead of the pre- booked 2 . The adjoining pub was not clean, sticky tables, and had no coffee, as machine was broken, decided not to eat there as the food didnt look good on service. Bus fares into City were expensive for the short journey into town.

Room Tip: Book away fom reception area, possibly upstairs.

We have stayed at this Premier Inn a number of times and it is consistently excellent.
10/10 for cleanliness, price, facilities and staff.
Highly recommended.
Free Parking too which is so often a bug bearer of mine in other Hotel groups when they charge

Room Tip: All rooms are good

We stayed at this hotel 06/12/13 - 08/12/13. The hotel is not one of the most modern we have stayed in, but its not the least modern either. The rooms are big and very clean, all the staff are fantastic, from the moment we arrived we were made to feel at home. Would definitely book to stay here again. Went to the pub next door for breakfast on both the mornings we stayed, we were apprehensive after reading the reviews on this site, but decided to give it a chance, we are glad we did, the breakfast was excellent and once again the staff were first class. Do not be put off booking either the hotel or the pub by the negative views here. Chester itself is a great place to visit.
