We had a lovely weekend staying at this hotel and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We were checked in early as our room was ready, we were able to leave our car there as long as we wanted (we walked into the centre and back each day which was about a mile and a half each way). Our room was immaculate and modern and more than comfortable and so quiet. The staff were probably the friendliest hotel staff we have ever come across as well as the staff in the Brewers Fayre next door where we ate on the Saturday night and had a lovely breakfast there.
We would certainly return to this hotel and really do highly rate it.

Just got back from Chester , we needed a base to stay whilst visiting family and attending a 50 th birthday party, stayed at a couple of other premier inns in the area before but not this one . But from now on this is where we will stay, clean , modern , comfortable and convenient for shopping and eating out, the twirl of hay pub next door did a very nice, affordable dinner, but used stains bury,s across the road for breakfast....very good....staff were helpful and cheerful at the hotel . For £29.00 you can,t ask for more.

Room Tip: Looking at it prob best to ask for a room away from road but its set back anyway.

Stayed here for the Christmas & New Year festivities. Clean, comfortable and in a quiet location.
Excellent staff, very helpfull. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice,we did not have our evening meals in the Twirl of Hay but from what i could see the food looked very nice.
Chester is a lovely historic city, well worth the visit.
We shall visit again and also stay at this hotel.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back of the building are away from the main road.

The hotel is just off the motorway and has a Brewers Fayre next door, The Twirl of Hay. The usual high standards of Premier inn are here, we stayed as a family of 4. Saturday we spent in Chester but the hotel is very close to the city and a taxi was only £4.50 each way so cheaper than bothering with the car parks. The bonus for us was the pub next door, they have a play area for children ours are 8 and 9 and they can play while you relax and have a drink. They also offer a meal deal at £22.99 well worth the money, there is plenty of choice on the menu. You get a 3 course meal, a drink and breakfast all for the price and the kids are free.
We visited Cheshire Oaks the designer outlet on Sunday only 10 minutes drive away and I believe the zoo is the same distance. I would highly recommend staying here especially with children and they are entertained in the evening.

Room Tip: Ask for a room near reception if you dont want to walk far, it is quite a large hotel

A fairly new hotel by the look of things and just what I expected from Premier Inn; clean and comfortable, ample parking and friendly receptionist and at £29 for the night no complaints. Quite spread out as just two floors so a bit of walking involved if the room is at the other end of the building which may be a consideration for some and the corridors are narrow and lots of fire doors enroute to the rooms which can be awkward with lots of bags for those who do not travel light! We did not investigate what the Brewers Fayre / Twirl of Hay had on offer as we had other plans, only stayed one night so no opportunity to see what the chamber service was like. Only a 10-15 minute trip down the M53 to Cheshire Oaks retail park and the same to Chester Zoo on the A41 and about 8 mins out of central Chester and the racecourse. There is a Sainsbury's just over the road which is very handy for anything you might need or forgotten.
