Enjoyed this Premier Inn on long trip down to Cornwall. Iced water on arrival helped our kids as the weather was stiflingly hot. Reception were friendly. Room was as expected - comfy, made up, clean, reasonable size. No air com though so the room never got below 26oC all night so lucky we had the fan but we were still too hot. Brewers fayre was ok. Food average tho kids loved the fun factory and the outdoor play area when the kids factory shut at 8 pm. Did what it said on the tin and enjoyed a fab day at chester zoo the next day

overall the premier itself was lovely.was not keen on the reception we got on our arrival.we had notified them of our expected late arrival as we were at a concert.we were unable to find a car space and then we were told it was our responsibility if our car was damaged where it was parked.not what we wanted to hear after driving from jodrell bank, late at night.no other faults or issues.

Typical Premier Inn which means you know exactly what you're getting, a clean comfortable room and good facilities. Very friendly reception desk staff, always willing to give you a map or directions. Fan in room much appreciated during this very hot spell. Brewers' Fayre breakfast is very good and very generous. We only had one evening meal here and found it ok, nothing special, but the breakfasts are good and as another reviewer said, great coffee made fresh every cup. Very close to the A55. Location ideal. We enjoyed our few days in the area.

We've just spent 2 nights here visiting family who live nearby. We were travelling with a 3 year old and had rooms 14 and 18 which look into the car park and the main entrance.
We were very impressed - Parking when we arrived was good and we managed to get a space right outside the reception. We were slightly early checking in however this wasn't mentioned and the room was all ready for us. Check in was very friendly and efficient - The lady on reception even gave my 3 year old some crayons and colouring paper while we checked in.
Rooms are spacious, modern and spotlessly clean. It's very hot at the moment and there were fans in our rooms. Also large flat screen TVs. Bathroom with shower over bath and soap in dispenser. Every time we walked past reception we were greeted by staff who always said hello.
We had breakfast in the Brewer's Fayre next door, again very good - Good selection of food and drinks, cappuccinos etc from the coffee machine all included in your breakfast. Children eat for free.
We didn't go into Chester this time however we have on previous visits so I think the hotel is only around 10 minutes from the centre and is also within close proximity of Chester Zoo.
Also worth mentioning that there is a Sainsbury's across the road and also a petrol station which we found handy.
Overall an excellent hotel, very well located, clean and very friendly. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it and we'll definitely stay here again.

Having stayed here for one night earlier in the year, we decided to have 2 nights this time.

The whole experience from check in with very friendly receptionists (the lady remembered us), to our room was just a good as last time.

It is handy having Brewers Fayre next door, whether for food or just a drink. We thought the breakfast was very over priced, and opted for Sainsburys on the Saturday morning just over the road. It worked out less for 2 people there than it would be for one breakfast at Brewers Fayre. If they were not so expensive more people would use it. Having said that we did have a few drinks there one evening, but prefer to go into town for a meal at night.

Reception will book you a taxi upon request, about £5 into town, and we used these coming back also, very quick and efficient.

The room was up to usual good standards, very comfy beds and no problems whatsoever.

We will use here again when visiting Chester and will try some others around the country. Good value, clean and great staff. Room cleaned and beds made up even though only staying 2 nights.

It would be nice to have a couple of benches outside in car park for smokers.

Room Tip: phone or email ahead if you would prefer downstairs room as no lifts

This was my first time ever in a Premier Inn and I was impressed by the level of quality of this budget hotel. Ok you don't get the amenities of a normal hotel but other than that everything was fantastic.

The reception staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. The rooms were very comfortable and clean and better than a number of higher rated hotels I stayed in. You get 30 mins wifi every day although I do believe that nowadays wifi simply has to be free everywhere.

Adjacent to the Inn is a Pub which is used for breakfast and dinners. We never used this albeit for some drinks but it is nice and convenient. A few meters away there is also a park and ride to the city at 2 GBP per person however If you have a car I do recommend that you drive into Chester as I didn't find parking too difficult.

Will definitely stay again.

When we arrived the welcome we received from the manager and her staff was wonderful. We had booked this particular Inn hoping it was near to Chester Zoo and it was, very easy to get to the zoo.
This three days was to celebrate my grandsons second birthday and the staff in the Premier Inn and in the Brewers Fayre were amazing and certainly helped to make it a very special birthday for him.
Thank you - superb!!!!
