This is our second stay in this apartment. We have been coming to Chester for a pre-Christmas treat and shop for thirty years. Until last year, we stayed in centrally located hotels. We now need somewhere suitable for the new addition to our family. Last year, the apartment was ideal for a very new baby and this year proved equally marvellous for our active one year old. More importantly, it is a safe and clean space with easy access and minutes away from shops, eateries and nightlife. There is lots of space and the layout and facilities are perfect for a superb stressfree family break and suitable for a full age range. We will continue to book this apartment for as long as the owner lets us. He is attentive and thorough for which we are very grateful.
The apartment was in a very convenient spot , a 15 minute walk into the centre of Chester. The secure parking was an added bonus as parking in Chester is expensive. There was a convenience store just across the road & the large Waitrose was a five minute walk away so this apartment could not have been better situated.
The apartment itself was quite well appointed with a comfortable double bed & plenty of space.
If I had to find any faults I would say that only having one key made it a little difficult on a couple of occasions. Also, the toilet paper was of very poor quality for a 5 star rated property but these were minor details.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay & thought that Chester was a delightful place for a mini break.
Apartment was located a short walk from the City Centre and Train Station. It was spacious, well equipped, clean and comfortable.
Good secure underground parking.
The host was very accommodating and got back to us promptly. An excellent stay and would certainly recommend.
We enjoyed a great stay in the apartment. It's in a brilliant location - 5 minutes walk into centre of Chester, which is a gorgeous city with loads of nice bars, restaurants and shops. Walk the other way out of the apartment and you're on the river or in a lovely park. 10 mins walk to train station. It overlooks a main road, but noise wasn't an issue, especially as the bedrooms are at the rear where it is quiet.
The apartment was very clean, warm and comfortable with everything we needed. One of the best we've stayed in. Secure car parking was great too.

Chose this property because of its location as its in easy walking distance to the Park, Chester walls, river and canal. Parking in Chester can be an issue; this had its own reserved spot in an underground car park, which was another deciding factor. The reviews on trip advisor were all positive and I can say I agree with most of them. It’s a very nice apartment, bigger than I expected and having two bathrooms was really useful. It’s well equipped and had most things we needed for our stay… Sure there were little things that would have been useful, stand to put hot pots on so not to damage the work tops, potatoes masher and the bathroom door handle needs fixing, that being the sum of my issues you can see this is a good place to stay.
The owner Steve was very helpful, good instructions and when we contacted him concerning a minor hiccup on parking permit he had it sorted immediately. Great service.
In summary I would recommend this place if you want a base to explore Chester especially if walking which is the best way to get around the main parts of the city. Great place, felt like home from home, we will be looking to return.
Very nice flat all the mod cons that you get in your own home, underground parking and the river in one direction and the canal in the other short walk to city and to train station all in all it has all you need.
