This is a great holiday rental, well-equipped and in a really convenient central but quiet location adjacent to the north side of the city wall and literally round the corner from Northgate, one of the main streets. So plenty of eateries and pubs easily reached, very useful on the first night when you're unfamiliar with a city! The house is very comfortable, and Miriam the manager made us all welcome. One big gripe however - the property is described as having three bathrooms - it doesn't. There is a master en suite and a main bathroom upstairs for the bedrooms but the third is only a small toilet with WHB under the stairs on the ground floor. As three unrelated couples sharing the house, the promise of three bathrooms was a major factor in making our choice, so this was very disappointing. I guess no problem if it's a family, but maybe the property description should be amended to reflect the reality. A lesser issue is that we had to buy extra loo rolls as there weren't enough. Having said that, we would still recommend the house and would book again.
Perfectly situated for Chester centre and very well equipped and cosy. The courtyard garden is especially lovely.
Literally facing part of the city wall, excellent location for a weekend break to explore the lovely city of Chester. An added bonus is a dedicated parking space just a couple of minutes walk from the house. Lots of nearby places to eat. A well equipped home, books, dvd's, games available to use if required, plenty of space to spread out and relax. Good quality linen.
Great family home in perfect spot for Chester, North Wales and the Wirral.
Nicely modernised, excellent layout and facilities topped off by a really good, responsive owner and local agent.
We couldn't speak too highly of the whole package, thoroughly recommended !
