“Cosy romantic hideaway”
Reviewed 15 October 2017 for a stay in October 2017

This cottage is the perfect accomodation for a romantic break in Chester. It is central yet quiet. The location by the river is magical. The owners have thought of EVERYTHING to make your stay perfect. They were lovely too; taking time to ring us when the cottage was ready. We would deffinitely look to stay again next time we go to Chester. Ta also for the wine and other bits. A truly memorable experience. Xxx

“Fabulous”
Reviewed 7 October 2017 for a stay in September 2017

the cottage was beautiful there was ever thing that you could possible need and more. Elizabeth and her husband have put a lot of thought into making their guest comfortable and was greatly appreciated.
There are wonderful food shops and a great coffee shop across the road, and of course you are walking distance to Chester city centre.
I really enjoyed my stay at the cottage and really did not want to leave.

Thankyou.

Jennifer

“Many positives”
Reviewed 14 August 2017 for a stay in August 2017

I agree with all the five star reviews of this property. It has probably all been said, however, to reiterate; lovely welcoming touches of chocolates, wine in fridge and a breakfast starter pack of bread, milk and jams were really appreciated. The apartment is well appointed with two televisions, one in the bedroom, washing machine, dishwasher, cooking facilities and equipment, two toilets, one upstairs and one down. Open the windows and you are lulled to sleep by the sounds of the river (and the odd duck's quack). A lovely walk into the city or along the river. A very convenient pub next door which serves delicious meals. Highly recommend this accommodation, however, you may need to be a little agile to walk up the spiral staircase - I left my suitcase downstairs. Hope to return one day.

The high standard of accommodation the perfect location ( for shops, pubs, entertainment and restaurants ) was fantastic. All the little extras just made driftwood the nicest place we have stayed. “Great location for a couple to explore Chester”
Reviewed 21 July 2017 for a stay in July 2017

The location was perfect - just cross the bridge to the centre of Chester. It was lovely to sit and watch the herons and ducks on the river from the comfort of the cottage. The property was really well equipped and perfect for 2.

“Lovely River Cottage”
Reviewed 30 June 2017 for a stay in May 2017

The Driftwood is a beautiful little cottage, conveniently located on the River Dee next to one of the bridges that leads directly to Chester City Centre and the city wall. The cottage is comfortable with lovely amenities and a perfect place for a get away in Chester. We would absolutely stay here again!
