So helpful on sorting out, never easy when it is not for a holiday, but for "work".
Accomodation fantastic, all who stayed want to rebook so this will be going on for a while, so sorry for anyone wanting to book a fantastic base for Chester in an lovely location with everything you could possibly need
Extremely clean and comfortable, very well presented, lots of consumables provided including milk and bread. Even the supermarket delivery man and cabbie knew how to get to the house.
Perfectly placed for the race course and exploring the unique town centre. Didn't use the car all weekend.
Great location, extremely tidy and clean, all the amenities we needed. Helpful host and clear check in/check out info. Would definitely stay here again.
Great vacation rental, this property is very nicely decorated and has all the amenities you need for a really nice stay. Great comfy beds, lovely bathrooms and a perfect location for exploring Chester.
We have just spent a fabulous girlie weekend at this house, the house is ideally situated to the town centre, only a 10 mins walk. The house has everything you could need & is very stylish in design. It's in a gated courtyard with secure parking for 2 cars & overlooks the canal. It's a quiet residential area, which is great. The information from Melanie is brilliant & she even left us some bread, butter, tea etc in the house. A lovely weekend away
The House at Waters Edge is perfectly located for a stay in Chester. There are some really interesting short walks into the city centre. We stayed here as a family for a long weekend, and had a fabulous time. The house was very comfortable and absolutely gleaming – I’d snap their cleaner up in an instant! The owner, Melanie was very helpful and welcoming and her pre-stay e-mails were full of local useful information.
The house itself is like a boutique hotel. It has the most lush purple velvet sofas that we all loved! Little touches like an excellent welcome pack of the all the essential tea, coffee, bread, milk etc show that the owner really cares about their guests.
It’s very safe and secure because it’s inside a small gated estate in Chester, on the canal. So it’s very peaceful. We could open the doors and the ducks came right up to the window to be fed. This was a lovely start to our days.
It is right by the City walls - a brilliant walk into the middle of town with all of its restaurants, bars and shops. Or you can walk in along the canals, and stop off at Telford’s Warehouse pub for a quick slurp. Needless to say this soon became our local. There are several really good restaurants within 5-10 minutes and we had a delightful meal at 1539 on the race course. The location is ideal and I would unhesitatingly recommend it to visitors to Chester. We’ll be back!
Stayed here for almost two weeks on business and had no issues at all. Melanie was very helpful with our stay and when we needed extra nights she sorted us out right away. It's only a short walk into the center for pubs and restaurants too.
