This restaurant never fails to please me, I've visited here on numerous occasions with colleagues and clients and always had a fantastic meal and great service.

I love the relaxed atmosphere of the bar, the meat board and overview of their stakes, the quirky feel from their theme, the service and most of all the food!!

I very, very rarely rate anyone as a 5 but you have to give it to them

One of my favourite places to eat, Period!!!!

Thanks

We came here 3 years ago and it was great, so decided to return, happy it is still here. Had a great meal, carpaccio is one of the best I have ever had and the steak was great. All the extras, like sides and veg add to the experience and the wine list is very good. Staff are very helpful and friendly some of the best service we have experienced on this trip. We enjoyed it so much we came again two nights later and it was still exactly superb. There is a cheap menu for early birds which looks really good too, but obviously smaller portions for bargain price.

Stumbled across this gem whilst looking for somewhere good to eat after Chester races. Were welcomed by very friendly staff, who although the restaurant was very busy, good squeeze us a table for an hour and a half. Staff were incredibly friendly, the waiter even went to the bookies and put us a World Cup bet on before the game started! Brought out all the choices of steals to look at. I went for the monkfish, was beautiful! Would recommend to anyone - a beautiful little restaurant.

After waiting for months I finally managed to book a table for this restaurant, albeit a table of 5 was hard to come by in such a small establishment. The restaurant itself is very small and compact however the food was delicious. The service we received was second to none from the word go. I cannot fault this restaurant on any aspect other than its size, which added to our lengthily booking (booked a table for June in February), however this isn't upstairs at the grills fault that we had to wait so long for a booking, it's a compliment to their outstanding food.

Would recommend, the bone marrow butter was particularly good.
