Really lovely and quirky hotel, good value for money and is a perfect place to stop for young couples on a break. We had an amazing sea view over the maritime harbour and the breakfast was yummy with great service from staff. The staff were all friendly and created a great impression of the Falmouth locals. The room we stayed in was clean, trendy, simple and well decorated. I would certainly stay again.

Room Tip: Ask for a sea view - its worth it, however The falmouth townhouse is in the centre of the harbour so...

We stayed here for 2 nights and had a good time at the Townhouse. The location is excellent and the room was good with harbour views, albeit bordering on being pricey. Having said that our room also had a newly refurbished bathroom, which was a nice add-on. All of this would make the Townhouse a good option but what really stands out is the staff doing the breakfast shift. Very good food served with a smile and a welcoming air that is so often lacking in hotels and B&Bs.

Wonderfully refurbished real townhouse in a perfect location directly at the harbour and only a two minutes walk from the city center. People were absolutely great! Fine bar on the ground floor, perfect beer selection, and our wonderful barkeeper even connected up a cask of special beer for me to try. Recommendation at all points. And I will take care of the beerglass he donated me in the end... Super breakfast too.

Chose this hotel for a special occasion mainly due to the position (which is perfect) and the amazing photos on the website. Arrived early but was accommodated for in the bar area, had a few drinks and played pool. We were able to check into our room early and the experience went down hill from there. The hotel has obviously suffered with major roof issues as our room felt more like a cave then a luxury boutique room. The walls were damp and pealing, the furniture was damaged and there was a hole by the front door. The shower was mouldy and the TV was tiny - (Please look for our photos) We decided to complain which was met with the comment "This is our cheapest room" (£245 for 2 nights) eventually moved to another room but was made to feel so uncomfortable that we decided to leave. Argued for a full refund and set out to find a new hotel. Would strongly recommend either the Trevaylor or Camelot - Great people, great prices ad fantastic prices.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for an evening. The locations great, staff friendly and helpful and the breakfasts to a very high standard. Our room was very good value for money, the showers top notch. The only comment I would make us the decor is starting to look a little fade, nothing a lick of paint wouldn't fix. Overall very impressed, will stay again next time we're in Falmouth.

Ideally located close to the harbour with a good choice of restaurants nearby. Quirky retro decor in the room (4 in our case) and the most spacious room I can remember staying in. Supremely comfortable super king size bed with a chair and sofa and still room to move around.

Nice to have a teapot and cafetiere provided with the in-room facilities. Walk in shower as well as freestanding bath plus lovely large towels and toiletries provided.

The breakfast was superb, cooked option with everything you could want and plenty of other choices such as Eggs Benedict. Previous comments about decaffeinated have obviously been addressed as this was available including latte or cappuchino option.

Very helpful and friendly staff and nice to have the bar available on site. No noise from the bar although some delivery lorries across the road in the morning were noticable. Certainly wasn't a problem but you might want a rear room if you want to lie in.

All in all a very pleasant stay

We stopped at this hotel for 2 nights on B&B basis. We were given room #7 on the top floor over looking the harbour & carpark. The room deco was ok however our walls had lot of damp/mould which was a disappointment. Bathroom was of good quality however again the lock was missing. Overall the room looked like it hadn't had anything done since the place first opened. For the money they charge it needs to top quality. Breakfast by far the best I have had in Cornwall :-) well worth the money even if you are not staying there I would def recommend the place - great coffee, great bar, and nice atmosphere.
