Stayed Easter weekend 2010, as our friends were getting married in the hotel opposite. Rathgowery offered not only a good location for us, but is ideally placed for beach and town/harbour access. John & Sabine have just taken over and have already begun modernising. We had one of their new 'boutique' style rooms with a large comfortable sofa area, which was great for just relaxing, so much more comfortable than having to sit on the bed all the time. Breakfast was tasty and offered a good selection from cereals and fruit to full English or American breakfasts - plus extras. Above all though the experience was made all the more enjoyable by John and Sabine. We arrived early and were able to access our room immediately. Little touches like cookies and mints in each room show an attention to detail. And throughout the stay, the hosts were helpful, chatty and always available if we needed anything. Thanks for a nice weekend.

Very good place. Very clean and great hospitality. We are vegetarians and the hosts, John and Savine prepared vegetarian breakfast for us. Close to town center and good view of the beach. Easiy approachable from A39.

We revisited this very friendly bed and breakfast and found it to be as good, if not better than our previous stay. The rooms were clean, bright and well-appointed and the breakfast delicious. It is very conveniently located, just a stones throw from the sea, with beautiful views over the bay. This really is an ideal place to stay when visiting the Falmouth area.

The accommodation at this lovely Bed & Breakfast was very clean and spacious and the welcome from our hosts warm and welcoming. Car parking is readily available on the forecourt and the beach and many of the attractions of Falmouth just a few minutes walk away. The food was excellent and the service friendly. The perfect place to stay if you are planning a visit to Falmouth.

The Rathgowry turned out to be even better than anticipated. We were so close to the beach and were able to park our car safely on the hotel forecourt. Our bedroom and en suite facilities were spotless and very comfortable and we could use the lounge whenever we wanted to. We enjoyed the food and nothing seemed too much trouble which helped make our holiday so enjoyable. We will definitely be returning to this hotel next year.

We needed a comfortable guest house in Falmouth because our daughter was starting a three year course at the University there.
We were so pleased to have found The Rathgowry because we were made so welcome. Our room was very comfortable with en suite facilities and a delightful sea view. Everywhere was immaculately clean and the breakfast was delicious. I know we will be returning many times during the next three years.
