Really professional b&b set up. Immaculate facility and well thought through. Our room was spacious with a lovely view of Falmouth harbour. All amenities and facilities in the room were excellent. Shower no bath. Access and parking is fine and location is ideal for both town and the beach. Owners are friendly and very welcoming. The best b&b we have stayed in and certainly good value for money. Would consider using the Below Stairs apartment as a holiday base for a longer stay. Great to stay for visiting children at Falmouth and Penryn University. located near Gilly Beach which has an excellent restaurant and woalk round to the next bay for an even better "bay view" seafood restaurant. Town is ten minutes away with a selection of very good pubs and restaurants.

Room Tip: Room 3 overlooks Falmouth Harour and is spacious and comfortable and not overlooking the road

We spent a week in April in the Below Stairs apartment and had everything we needed and more! The kitchen is spotless, very well equipped -- even to a dishwasher and washing machine. The bedroom is just right, with comfortable bed and a roomy ensuite. The half-bath at the entrance makes it easy to come in and out from the large deck overlooking a beautiful garden with the harbour at a distance. We were snug when it rained and enjoyed the deck when the sun shone. There are lots of sights to see and restaurants and pubs within easy walking distance - just a few blocks to all the shops and the museum on the harbour. Our hosts were so accommodating and welcoming that we can't wait to go back!

Room Tip: There is just one apartment and it is a great choice for Falmouth!

We spent a week in Falmouth wanting to explore the local surrounds.
The Wellington House offered excellent accommodation. It was ideally situated for town, harbour or beach. Our room was very clean and comfortable and commanded a lovely view of the harbour. Breakfasts were fantastic and the proprietors did everything to make our stay enjoyable.
The stay offered exceptional value for money, and we shall definitely stay again.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back of the house have harbour views.

We spent 3 nights at the Wellington, and it was fantastic. It's such a beautiful guesthouse with plenty of character, and 2 owners who are simply wonderful and extremely helpful. The bed was very comfortable and had all amenities you would expect. Wellington has a driveway for car parking, although the road opposite is free too. Breakfast was very tasty as well, though this is at an additional cost. Location-wise, Wellington is perfectly situated with 5 minute walks to both the beach and town centre/harbour. Before we left, we checked out the below stair apartment which looks brilliant, and suitable if staying for more than 3 days, and if you have children. We are planning our next visit to Falmouth and to Wellington soon!

Room Tip: If you book through the Wellington guesthouse website, you can request your room to have a view of F...

Spent 3 nights in the below stairs apartment. The place is spotlessly clean, and well decorated, The shower room, which looks brand new, is very spacious and positively sparkling ! The kitchen has everything you would need, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge and separate freezer, microwave, etc etc. There are nice (and not expected) little extras like tea, coffee, biscuits, cereals and even fresh milk in the fridge. We only used the kettle and toaster as we were lucky with the weather which meant we were out all day, every day and only really slept there. Nice decked balcony overlooks the very pretty garden, and down towards the harbour. The flat is underneath the guest house, so there is some slight noise from any movement overhead, but it certainly didn't bother us.
The bed is enormous, and has a memory foam mattress, which took some getting used to, and topped with a very good quality feather duvet, which would have been far too hot for our liking. Not a criticism in any way, its a personal choice thing! Rosemary kindly offered to change to a thinner quilt, but we were quite happy with just the quilt cover and throw.
Easy walk to the town, takes about 10 mins, enjoyed a lovely meal in (I think it was called the Warehouse) next door to The Chain Locker (good real ale pub). All in all, a nice little apartment, well looked after, many thanks.

We decided to spend a "getaway from it all" weekend in Falmouth, and stayed for 2 nights in the below stairs apartment at Wellington House.
The location is ideal as only 10 minutes walk from the towns shops and restaurants and there is ample parking at the property so we were able to leave our car there for the whole of our stay.
The apartment has a well equipped kitchen, with everything you could possibly need, including complimentary tea, coffee and sugar, a selection of cereals, milk and biscuits.
The lounge area is lovely to relax in with multi-channel TV, a selection of dvds and a large selection of books,.and the bedroom has an extremely comfortable large bed (made from 2 singles put together) with memory foam mattress, There is a TV in the bedroom, plenty of wardrobe space and a spacious shower room en suite.
Overall the apartment was immaculately presented, clean and spacious, and excellent value for money.

We stayed a couple of nights here to attend a family wedding and reception being held nearby. Despite arriving early, we were met by Rosemary, Bruce, and the beautiful Cassey who greeted us warmly and immediately made us feel welcome and at home. Our twin room with modern en-suite bathroom, was immaculately clean, warm, comfortable and well equipped with all modern amenities, Colour TV, Wifi, Tea & Coffee making facilities, Iron and Ironing Board, Fitted Hairdryer, small portable fridge, and more than adequate storage/hanging space for clothes, baggage etc. We had a full cooked Cornish breakfast on both mornings which was superbly cooked, presented and very tasty, more than worth the few pounds charged, also available was a good selection of cereals, toast and home made jam/marmalade, coffee, tea and fruit juice. Wellington house is ideally situated for those that require a peaceful location, but within short walking distance to bars, clubs, restaurants and beach etc, but for also travelling further afield to explore all the delights Cornwall and the warm Cornish people have to offer. We would have no hesitation to recommend this to anyone, and look forward to staying there again ourselves in the near future.

Room Tip: Any choice here is a good one!!!!!!
