Our second stay at Rosemullion. It was well over a year since we last stayed but the welcome we received was nice, the owner really puts the effort into making you comfortable. We explained that we hadn't come far but were visiting The Ranch (restaurant in town).

We were offered the same room we stayed in before (room 2) or room 3 across the hall which we went for as it has a king size bed, sofa and larger bathroom. The housekeeping is great, no problems to report there.

In the morning we had a cooked breakfast with the other guests and received the usual good service.

As we checked out the owner appeared from the kitchen in her chefs whites to ask if we had a nice meal last night and how our stay was. This again confirmed to us that she really cares for the guests.

Room Tip: Room 2 is a nice double with a sea view. Room 3 is bigger but no sea view.

We were in Falmouth for the weekend and picked the Rosemullion due to its brill reviews - and we weren't disappointed! We were greeted by Gail who is wonderful and warm - she had initially put us in a sea view (without us even requesting one, how lovely!) but on realising we were both tall, offered us another room with a bed without a kickboard. We chose this one and it was lovely - right at the top of the building with a small balcony which overlooked Falmouth and if you peeked round, the sea. Bed was really comfy, lots of covers to keep us cosy (though room was nice and warm even without heating on) everything completely spotless and bathroom brill.

Perfect location for a minute's stroll to the beach and a short walk into Falmouth's centre. We were able to park at the B&B and walk everywhere from there.

Breakfast is served to your table and the staff are very attentive and friendly, the full English is delicious and fresh and they are very accommodating with requests.

Everything you want from a B&B, with some added luxury!

I booked 3 rooms, on behalf of ourselves and friends . The three rooms were all different and all very clean and comfortable. My husband and I had stayed at the Rosemullion last year but this was the first time for our friends, who were very impressed. The staff were very welcoming, and helpful and couldn't do enough to help us. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were happy to provide the different choices that we requested. The hotel is only a 10-15 minute walk to the quay and the shops with a great choice of bars and restaurants too. At the bottom of the road by the hotel car park is Gyllingvase Beach with a 'beach cafe' that is anything but ...! We had a fabulous meal there after it being recommended by a member of the hotel staff. The cafe is also great for sitting and watching the sea as it has a perspex window across the outside seating area so that the wind is not in your face. Can't wait until next year when all of us hope to meet up again at the Rosemullion.

Room Tip: The back of the hotel offers sea views, these rooms are mainly on a higher level.

beautiful rooms, very clean & lovely breakfasts. The Rosemullian is a short walk from the town centre of Falmouth & and even shorter stroll to the beach. Would highly recommend, parking too which enables you to sample the delights of falmouths restaurants & bars without a care

More than happy with our 3 night stay at the Rosemullion , Gail and the staff could not have been more friendly or helpful we had a balcony with fantastic view over bay . The cooked breakfast was the best we have had 3 minute walk to beach and 10 to harbour town. Would recommend and will go back again when we are down that way.

Well a lovely surprise and very personable accommodation. The hotel was booked on my behalf and I was a little prudent on arriving. There was no need, very comfortable hotel with airy room with a super view of the bay. The staff were lovely and couldn't do enough to ensure your we're happy. Comfortable bed and a hearty hot breakfast. A short stroll into Falmouth centre but close to the beach and University. :)

Room Tip: Room 7 top floor

Mr & Mrs F - Durham. Two night stay, stayed in room 12. Bit small but more than adequate, very clean & nicely decorated. Tray of tea & biscuits on arrival. Harbour, town & beach within walking distance, a bit uphill but not too steep. Cooked breakfast was nice.

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
Charming, tranquil, convenient and full of character: Rosemullion is one of Falmouth’s most attractive guest residences. A stone’s throw from Gyllyngvase Beach and a short walk from the station, events square and the town centre, Rosemullion is an ideal choice for both a holiday in Falmouth or a short business or university-related stay. Built as a gentleman's residence in the late 19th century, Rosemullion will leave a strong impression on you. We pride ourselves on the convivial yet peaceful atmosphere we have created; recognising, for example, that not everyone wants to be disturbed by the sound of small children or noise from a bar. That's why we do not cater for young children or have a bar of our own. Our emphasis is on that rarest of commodities in today's world – peace. We look forward to sharing it with you. ... more   less
