Description: Lazy lunches. Decadent dinners. Sublime shellfish. Hooked on the Rocks is a quick walk away from the bustle of Falmouth town and is all about beautiful, relaxed and fun dining experiences. We overlook Swanpool Beach, across Falmouth estuary and over to Pendennis Castle and St Anthony's Lighthouse. It's a spectacular setting whatever the weather, and we love to share it with everyone that visits. It's a view that inspires. And it definitely inspires the team down here every day and influences both our menus and our ethos.Hooked on the Rocks is the place for the best Cornish seafood and shellfish. Our chefs focus on the freshest fish, using whatever our fishermen have to offer that day. And we make sure it's sustainable too. We love Cornwall and we love fish and our aim is simple: to serve up great dishes that show off Cornish produce in a relaxed and friendly environment. Our ever-changing platters are a great way to try local shellfish, our crab and lobster tank is an old favourite for crustacean fans, but we always make sure we've got a few steaks on, and vege options too.Hooked on the Rocks is great for a morning coffee in the sun, a long and lazy al fresco lunch, or the perfect way to end a hard day out and about.

We came here with our parents last week, we were late and only just made it but the staff were very accommodating and didn't grumble at all. The location was fantastic with lovely views and a ambiance in the resturant. Food was great, portions were on the small size but top quality; would be fine if having two courses. Staff lovely and very patient despite us being late. There is outside seating for those warm summer days and I would certainly love to come back and while away a sunny afternoon with some wine and great food here!
Highly recommend this lovely resturant!

We went to this restaurant with friends who are living in Falmouth doing a Sailing Yacht refit. What a find! The service was prompt and the food delicious and fresh. The kitchen looked like a well oiled machine and as we were one of the last to leave we saw the team completely clean down the whole air vent system. We ha a couple of bottles of lovely white Lebanese wine - which went down so well with the sea food.

My wife and I ate here last night as we are down in Falmouth for the week. Our first impression of the place was good as the view was stunning. The staff were very attentive without ever being too obtrusive. The food was amazing, we shared a selection of tapas dishes to start, the Crab Won Tons were amazing as were the figs wrapped in Parma Ham stuffed with Brie. We then had the signature platter dish between us which was a selection of fresh muscles, cockles, jumbo prawns, scallops and a tempura battered white fish, all served in a delicious Thai broth. There was plenty for the two of us, no one was going to go hungry that's for sure. All in all the view was great, the service was very good and the food to die for. Next time we are down, we WILL be back.

Been twice now at lunchtime with 16 month old grandaughter. First time hsd tapas it was ok but didnt blow me away especially the crab bisque more like dishwater than a bisque which should have substance to it but grandchild enjoyed.
2nd time I had seafood broth grandchild loved this I was expecting more chilli heat but ok for a lunch hubby had tapas again good but not amazing really need to get a better depth of flavour this should be achievable as only a small choice of menu
views lovely seating very good and if you were drinking good choices here soft drinks good choice also
