Description: Lazy lunches. Decadent dinners. Sublime shellfish. Hooked on the Rocks is a quick walk away from the bustle of Falmouth town and is all about beautiful, relaxed and fun dining experiences. We overlook Swanpool Beach, across Falmouth estuary and over to Pendennis Castle and St Anthony's Lighthouse. It's a spectacular setting whatever the weather, and we love to share it with everyone that visits. It's a view that inspires. And it definitely inspires the team down here every day and influences both our menus and our ethos.Hooked on the Rocks is the place for the best Cornish seafood and shellfish. Our chefs focus on the freshest fish, using whatever our fishermen have to offer that day. And we make sure it's sustainable too. We love Cornwall and we love fish and our aim is simple: to serve up great dishes that show off Cornish produce in a relaxed and friendly environment. Our ever-changing platters are a great way to try local shellfish, our crab and lobster tank is an old favourite for crustacean fans, but we always make sure we've got a few steaks on, and vege options too.Hooked on the Rocks is great for a morning coffee in the sun, a long and lazy al fresco lunch, or the perfect way to end a hard day out and about.

“Really rather disappointed!”
Reviewed 10 July 2014

Having read great reviews on Tripadvisor, we went here for dinner a couple of weeks ago. We were hugely disappointed! We had Tapas for starters which consisted of low quality ingredients, and meagre amounts (we aren't the biggest of eaters!) We thought perhaps the main would be better, but to no avail. And decided not to bother with pudding.
Thoroughly disappointed, the only redeeming factor about this place is the location! (Unfortunately)

“Great location”
Reviewed 8 July 2014

Visiting friends in Cornwall we were taken to Hooked on the Rocks for Sunday lunch. The location of the restaurant is perfect to enjoy the beautiful views, especially on a lovely sunny day.
The menu is a variety of tapas and fresh fish. We started by sharing two large plates of tapas. The variety was wonderful, some of the best we've ever had. We then all had different mains, my husband....usually a bit fussy...had polenta with grilled vegetables, and said it was wonderful .( I, now have to try and make it at home!) My fish soup was delicious. Just sorry we didn't have room for dessert.

“Delish seafood lunch ”
Reviewed 7 July 2014 via mobile

We have been to Indaba three times previously and we're pleased to find out that the name change doesn't mean a change of ownership or chef! This was our best experience so far and first try of the tapas. The portion size was very generous and at 5 tapas dishes for £12, with each dish cooked to perfection that's an absolute bargain. We tried the grilled oysters, cured salmon, crab wonton, tempura hake and scallop. To finish we had desserts including their take on a cream tea, all of which again were beautifully prepared and a delicious finish. We can't fault the cooking and we haven't even mentioned the stunning views; this time it rained but it's still a wonderful setting. The service was also perfectly pitched.
