We truly would like to recommend the Rosemary, the hosts were welcoming and friendly. The accommodation is clean and comfortable with a view of the sea. Short walk into Falmouth. The breakfast was really just perfect, plenty of food so you can help yourself at the small buffet and then the hot part of breakfast was cooked to our liking. Proper linen brilliant white tablecloths and very good bedding. This was our second stay at the Rosemary.

We stayed two nights in October. We found the host, Malcolm, very welcoming and helpful. The guesthouse is well located overlooking, and very close to, Gylly beach, although we didn't risk a swim! A short walk to the centre of Falmouth, which is an attractive and lively resort. The room had recently been refurbished and it showed in every detail. The bed was enormous and comfortable and the bedlinen and towels were all lovely white cotton. Breakfast was excellent, with a good choice, all cooked to order. There was also a comfortable guest lounge, with a welcoming fire and an honesty bar, and although we didn't use either of those, we might well have found them usefull had we stayed longer. All-in-all, a very pleasant break.

Room Tip: The superior king size we stayed in had super sea views and was very spacious.

We stayed on 9th November, an overnight stay (for me but my daughter stayed on in Falomouth), to go to my daughter's graduation. I really recommend this place. The B&B is about 2 minutes' walk from Gylly beach, which has a lovely cafe bar literally on the beach - nice ambience and food.
When we got to the B&B , we were offered free tea and cake, which was a lovely touch and very welcome after an extremely long drive. The owner told us the breakfast times, and when my daughter commented that we wouldn't have time as we had to be at the Pavilion by 8.30, he immediately offererd to give us breakfast earlier (7.30). Breakfast was very nice - I had cereal and toast and my daughter had scrambled eggs with smoked salmon. There was plenty of other food we could have sampled as well.
The room (twin) was gorgeous - very big and light, with huge windows looking over the garden and the sea beyond. The en suite bathroom had both bath and shower, and lovely toiletries all with some element of rosemary in them, lovely smells. There were twin tub chairs in the room, and binoculars provided to get a closer look at the ships moored out in the bay. The furniture was good quality solid wood (although we barely unpacked sadly) and there were two lovely white robes in the wardrobe. Being the beginning of Autumn, it felt a little chilly at bedtime - but in the wardrobe was a plastic storage bag with soft and light wollen blankets - which gave cosiness without heaviness.
I would have loved to have spent several nights there, to really make the most of the room, but sadly had to leave straight after the graduation. I'll certainly go there again if I get the chance!

This guest house is tucked away in a small side street just minutes from the beach. I only stayed for 1 night but the owner was very welcoming and happy to accommodate. The upstairs room was well equipped very clean and tidy. Small things set this guesthouse apart from others I have stayed in. Fresh milk in a flask to take to your room for making tea & coffee. Free toiletries and a shower that works supplying plenty of hot water when you need it. The breakfast was first class with plenty of choice including local bread and cheese should you require it. All in all The Rosemary is a cut above the rest and fully justifies its AA 4 star rating. Give it a try you won't be disappointed.

I found this b and b on the internet. We have stayed in Falmouth lots of times as our daughter went to uni there. Our usual b and b had been sold as the owners retired. This place is lovely. The owners are very welcoming, the rooms immaculate and comfortable. Breakfast is fantastic and really sets you up for the day. It is close to one of the best beaches and beach cafe on the world. We love Falmouth and the Rosemary will be our place to stay from now on.

We stayed here for two nights and left this morning. For those who want a short review, if this B & B is available, book it as you will not find better!

The full review is as follows! We arrived and we were met with the offer of Tea and Cake in the lovely garden with sea views. By the time we were ready to be shown our room our case had been taken up. We were in room 8, medium sized but perfectly formed and appointed in every way. Immiculatly clean, all mod cons, good TV and Wifi, lovely bed, separate sitting area, nice shower room, more than enough tea and coffee making facilities. Fresh milk available at all times, honesty fridge for soft drinks and alcohol. Very informative leaflets on the local area.Breakfast was lovely , plenty choice, cooked or otherwise.

If I could summaries this B&B I would say it is very well run, relaxed and welcoming.

Possibly one of the best I have stayed in!

My girlfriend found this B & B on the Falmouth Tourist information web site. We had a long weekend in Falmouth, visiting family in the area. The location of the B & B was great as you had 10 - 15 minute walk into the town centre and you were in the quiet part of the town. You were located centrally as you were also close to the beach.
The owners of this B & B were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble.
We would recommend this B & B for couples & families.
