What a superb find my wife and I stayed for two nights B&B while visiting relatives in the area. The hotel was fab the staff were very friendly and helpful. We didn't have an evening meal but the breakfast was excellent. The country hotel is set in beautiful grounds wonderful garden with fantastic views. We will definitely be back for another visit and will try the restaurant when we have more time menu looked great. Would certainly recommend Penmorvah.

Excellent 3 night break catching up with my friend. The Penmorvah was just what we needed - a warm welcome, spacious room, comfy beds and good food. We were after relaxation and exercise and this was a great location for some lovely walks. Starting the day with a substantial Cornish breakfast and returning for a delicious dinner, walks were essential. It was difficult to choose from the menu as all so appealing. The staff were friendly and attentive with nothing appearing too much trouble. I highly recommend this lovely hotel. Thank you Neil - we will return.

My partner and I stayed last month for the special 'Valentines Break' they were offering. For start the offer of dinner, bed and breakfast for £99 was a steal - couldn't say no to that offer. From arrival to departure we couldn't have been looked after more. The room was very clean and tidy with amply of space - lovely little touch of a bottle of fizz and chocolates in the room for arrival. We enjoyed a nice afternoon cuppa in the lounge with the most delicious homemade biscuits (you don't see this very often). Dinner in the evening was faultless and tasted divine - I had the fish for my main course and it was cooked to perfection, the date pudding for dessert was also very tasty. Although there was quite a few other dinners we were still looked after very well and nothing was too much problem. The gentleman in charge (Neil I believe) was such a gent and really is an asset to the hotel. Both Neil and his team did a superb job and I couldn't recommend them more highly... We will definitely be back - thank you!!!

We stayed for two nights and from booking to departure it was just wrong. The reception team seemed clueless and it took three goes to get our reservation right. The pleasant exterior hides a throw back to the 80's with beige bland colour schemes and paper napkins to match the mood. Mature lady on the bar could barely manage a smile and seem fluster all the time. The food was not up to much and was a similar to the decor. The whole place seemed a refuge for the older generation and was more akin to an old peoples home than a country house hotel. The hotel is clean, but smells a bit damp in places and despite the lick of paint here and there is well past it's sell by date.

We attended a Ladies Night Masonic Lodge function earlier month and were most impressed with the service and food. The tables were nicely arranged so diners were not cramped together, the dance floor was spacious, the food was lovely and generous, the service was slick- we were impressed with how the front of house gentleman (Neil?) made sure everything ran smoothly It was obvious that the waiting staff were professional. The waiters helped with distributing the raffle prizes. Such a lovely touch. The Hotel also donated a raffle prize - think it was a stay for 2 people? The proceeds went to a cancer charity. (Pity we didn't win that prize!) I would not hesitate to book/recommend any corporate functions here. The car park was very spacious so no problems of finding a car parking space. We have not stayed at the hotel but I am sure that it wouldn't disappoint.

was booked in for 2 nights as a surprise birthday pressie. the rooms were lovely so clean and a lovely size good size bathroom and a extra comfy bed. the views from our room looked over the gardens and fields and out to sea. all the staff were so friendly and helpfully and made us feel very welcome. top notch food with good size portions and eggs from their chickens that are wondering around. I would definitely recommend this place and cant wait to go back, hopefully when the sun shinning to enjoy the beautiful garden.

This is our third visit to this beautiful hotel set in lovely grounds with views over fields to the sea. A hotel where you can relax in lovely, well equipped rooms. The food is excellent, to a point where our 14 year old preferred to stay in on the second night rather than going out. A hotel that not only accept dogs but they are welcomed with dog towels and biscuits in the rooms. We stay here as a family while visiting our daughter at Falmouth University.
