“Well worth a visit”
Reviewed 28 June 2014

Visited this to fill an afternoon but we're really glad we did.

Plenty to see, loads of information about the items on display and an excellent free tour with plenty of facts, history and even a small ghost story! The guides are obviously very interested in the place and its history and this comes across really well. For only £7 a head this was a real bargain.

There's an uphill walk from town so you may need to consider driving if you've small kids or mobility issues.

“Very interesting, highly recommend the free tour”
Reviewed 22 June 2014

This is very interesting, decent entry fee, Josh was our tour guide around the castle (free tour) and he was very good.
Great views, all made better with the excellent weather that day.
Not too far from town, but if you have kids it might be better to drive from town. Or walk and try and do the lifeboat tour on the way.
Nice cream tea and cake.

“Lovely afternoon”
Reviewed 22 June 2014

We went to Pendennis Castle on a Sunday afternoon after wandering up there when we went for a stroll and we were glad we did.

There was quite a lot of information around the site so you knew what you were looking at rather than just wandering around. There was the option of tours if you wished, which you were informed of by the friendly staff at the reception. The views from the castle area are lovely, especially if you go up to the top of the castle. Very definitely worth a visit for a couple of hours or more.

“Hands-on Castle Experience”
Reviewed 15 June 2014

I loved all the interactive, hands-on learning opportunities the grounds offered my children. Kept my seven year busy and interested the whole day. Highly recommend joining the tour for the keep, our guide was very knowledge and kept the tour lively and fun. We ate at the cafe, but I was not impressed by the quality of food for the high prices we paid.
