It was a really interesting castle but if you are not good at walking then the steps inside are very steep. One good thing is that they have good access to the castle for disabled cars which makes life a lot easier.

“A nice surprise!”
Reviewed 20 July 2014 via mobile

I have been to Falmouth many times over recent years and always been tempted to visit the Castle. This June I had a fees hours to kill, so I popped up. From the minute I entered I was pleasantly surprised! There was far more to do than I ever expected. The shop was a nice size with lots of interesting items. The food served at the cafe seemed nice, although I didn't have chance to try. The exhibitions themselves were excellent, due to time I had to rush round everything, so make sure you arrive early naff give yourself as long as you need! All aspects very interesting, I will be back and give myself more time next visit!

“Interesting, not a must see though ”
Reviewed 15 July 2014 via mobile

We took our family including a 2 and 5 year old. Looking past the fact that they were holding a wedding there that day, and it partly dulled the full experience as the castle/fort was being done up for that (you'd think they would discount the day); The kids did not find it interesting, although I found the display of world war 1 items very interesting. If you love WW1 history, this place will be great for you. Otherwise, there are probably better things to see in Cornwall.
