...So we went on the first evening of our holiday. Unusually, it was quite quiet, but it meant we got a good table. Lovely bread & butter to start - we don't usually do starters and this was delicious. We had salt cod & akee, and snapper with rice & peas. I loved the snapper dish - the taste just makes you happy. The waitress was charming and it was interesting watching the kitchen in action. The only grouse we had was that the rum cake was sold out - we were really looking forward to pudding. An interesting and delicious place to visit, we heard good comments from a nearby table who seemed to have ordered nearly everything on the menu - it was probably them that had the last of the rum cake!
