Nice friendly hotel within walking distance of the sea and town.

Would definitely return as promised if I book direct I will get a sea view room - presume as I booked through online booking I was not allocated a sea view.

Stayed 1 night for our visit to Falmouth for a family party. Easy on line booking system. Wonderful welcome when we arrived - complimentary tea/coffee offered. Our room was spacious, airy and spotlessly clean. We booked a sea view and were spoilt with a generous upgrade to a balcony too! Comfy bed good nights sleep. Breakfast was wonderful with a very good selection to suit all tastes. As a family we all swapped notes on the various hotels we had booked in Falmouth and I;m delighted to say that The Lerryn came out best! And one of those was a well known 4* not too far away. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend.

Stayed for 3 nights in newly refurbished Room 4 on the first floor - a spacious room with water views and a tiny but efficient en-suite. A comfy Queen-sized bed ensured a good night's sleep and the area is very quiet yet only a few minutes walk to the busy shopping/restaurant area. The room had some lovely decorator touches - especially the lamps. Downstairs had a light and pleasant breakfast room and large lounge with bar operated on an "honour" system. Breakfast was an event and cooked on demand. Most people opted for the full "Cornish" breakfast. Parking was limited within the hotel grounds but we always found (free) on-street parking. Loved Falmouth and would stay here again.

Room Tip: Loved our Room 4 for space and sea views but en-suite very compact.

Stayed here 1 night - welcoming and friendly from the start. I arrived at the same time as 2 couples and were all offered coffee and biscuits in the lounge.

My room was fresh and airy with a sea view and opening windows (not true of all hotels). The bathroom was a little cramped - not a problem for me but the new owners say they will be redoing all the rooms soon.

Breakfast was tasty with good friendly service and attention to detail

We have just returned from spending the week-end at The Lerryn while visiting our daughter who recommended it. Greeted by the owner and having spoke to her on the telephone before our arrival
she was every bit as helpful and friendly. Shown to our room at the front of the hotel over-looking the beach and we were offered the choice of another room over-looking the sea and Pendennis Castle, we opted to stay where we were. The lady owner told us that they were refurbishing the hotel a few rooms at a time and that they were planning to have a large extension built over the next 2 years. The room was very clean and comfortable, we were offered tea on our arrival and also a reserved parking space. The breakfast was delicous and a good choice from fruit and cereals to a full english which was freshly cooked to order.
The hotel had a lovely charm about it and the staff and owners could not have been more helpful and polite, the area is also very quiet not a lot of traffic noise.
The area is beautiful and the hotel well situated for coastal walking, beaches and the town,
overall a pleasant place to visit.
Will DEFINATELY be staying at the Lerryn again!!!

Room Tip: Rooms at the front have great views.

A delightful stay at a hotel run by a lovely family who couldn't of been more helpful and fantastic sense of humor. So comfortable and surrounded by great views, right on the seafront. We'll be coming back.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Lerryn. The hotel is run by a family who were a pleasure to meet and the staff were always helpful and friendly. I was told that they are in the process of refurbishing some of the rooms at the hotel, and having stayed in one of the recently completed rooms it is clear the owners take extra care in providing a lovely environment to stay in. The hotel itself was clean and tidy and the choice of food for breakfast was excellent (the Full Cornish is a must!!) Overall I had a great time staying here and am definitely planning my next visit to Cornwall at the Lerryn. Thank you for a great break!
