The service in this hotel is excellent and that's why it gets 5 stars. Hotel is spread over three floors with no lift. Located up a hill from the sea front with plenty of parking right outside. Hotel is clean and breakfast was excellent with veg and gluten free options. Good value and enjoy the great service.

We have stayed at the Lerryn several times now and each time they gave fantastic service. Each room is individual with some lovely pieces of furniture, they are spotlessly clean. Breakfast is casual and to an excellent standard, lovely bread, local produce and made to order so hot and generous portions. The hotel is family run, we have met them all and they are warm and friendly, it feels more like they open your home to you. Excellent location (uphill back to hotel) but only 10 mins walk into the town.

Room Tip: Not all rooms have been refurbished.

We stayed at this hotel for one night at the end of a week long hike on the SWCP. The location was very convenient for walkers to reach, and the warm welcome and really nice amenities were just what we needed. Our room was on the small side, but it was very clean and well appointed. The family who own and run the hotel clearly understand the meaning and importance of customer service. They couldn't have been more helpful to us. The breakfast was really memorable (in a good way!), and served in a lovely sunny dining room. I highly recommend this hotel for visitors to Falmouth.

We arrived early with a baby who needed changing and feeding and we were welcomed in and given full use of the hotel facilities until our room was ready, including complimentary tea and biscuits.

The staff were so friendly and couldn't have been more helpful during our stay.

We were in a lovely family room, that although it is due to be refurbished, was large, light and bright and had a fabulous window seat overlooking the garden. We also had a huge comfortable bed and cot provided for the little one that she slept really well in.

Breakfast was super - a large choice of cooked breakfasts, including full Cornish, vegetarian, scrambled egg and smoked salmon or mushroom and feta cheese on toast, along with cereals, fruit, yoghurt etc. It was cooked and presented beautifully and was genuinely the best breakfast we have experienced in a hotel.

The only negative that we can find was a TV that switched on with full blast volume (which we worried might have been heard in neighbouring rooms) and was very small, so hard to see from across the room. However, I am assuming this will be upgraded when the room is refurbished.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return again.

We arrived early, there was a problem with one of our three rooms, and the team at the Lerryn showed us what customer service is all about. The tea came, recompense for the inconvenience, a complimentary drink...all delivered with absolute charm and sincerity. The rooms were lovely, the breakfast good, the beds comfy...but what we will remember is the incredibly personal experience we had as guests. The owners and their family really care about their new business and it just beams across. Magic to experience and sadly, so rare.

This is a great little place,I stayed in a room on the top floor, newly decorated with a sea view! It was lovely, rather compact but perfectly furnished. The bathroom was tiny, but the owners had managed to fit in a fabulous powerful shower! Very quiet, love the honesty bar, really nice touch! Breakfast is fabulous, lovely selection of cereals, fruit and yoghurt, the cooked breakfast looked good to, lovely selection of home made jams and marmalade.

We were greeted by the owner, shown to our room (no 13) and offered a complementary drink which we took to the lovely garden. a very friendly and professional welcome. The room was spotless, the bed linnen and towels were of a very high standard. Room 13 is a tiny twin room looking out onto the car park, through the side Window you can see the sea. The room being small didn't bother us at all as we literally only used the hotel to sleep at (which I would say is actually more of a very up market B&B) but if you were there for longer than a few nights you may not want this room (the beds seemed quite narrow but were very comfortable). The bathroom was spotless with a great power shower. The breakfast was very good too. We really were impressed with the decor and cleanliness of our room here and the rooms we walked through. The family who run the hotel are really funny and friendly - great base to explore Cornwall. 2 min walk from the beach.
