We had totally STUNNING weather:
Andy Murray had just won Wimbledon; we were staying nearby and came for a day at the local beach. After a morning on the sand in the sun and incoming tide, we retreated to the beach café, which turned out to be a wonderful bar/restaurant that knew exactly what their clientele wanted.

We had a shady table with an uninterrupted view of a lovely beach - there are no other buildings to be seen. The menu was extremely classy and well done: fish, burgers, prawns - and I was even tempted into having gooseberry crème brule with delicious coffee.
Sadly, we had to drive back to London after lunch - otherwise we'd have been back to check out dinner.

If the UK beaches always had this weather - and such a terrific beach restaurant - there would be NO point in holidaying abroad in the summer.

Called in for our breakfast after leaving our holiday home and embarking on a long journey home. We'd also popped in for drinks and snacks throughout the week and were never disappointed. It was a beautiful, sunny Saturday morning. We all ordered different breakfast ciabattas, and although some of us had to wait a little, all of the food was freshly cooked and delicious. The service was always very friendly and the setting just idyllic, especially on a sunny day.

Visited the Life's a Beach cafe several times while staying in Maenporth. V friendly staff - excellent food - lovely Ciabatta rolls! And, for the quality, excellent value too. Highly recommend it.

Nice little beach cafe with undercover & outdoor seating. It's about three miles from Falmouth along a fairly easy bit of coast path & is perfect for a rest before walking back. Coffee & carrot cake were both very nice & they serve Kelly's ice cream which is always a good thing. Perfect for anyone walking the South West Coast path.

We come here just for ice cream and drinks while we are on the beach. Quite friendly staff, good things like buckets and spades which you can buy and delicious ice-creams, and gorgeous flavours like bubblegum.. And even Candyfloss flavour! The drinks and hot chocolates are always lovely, overall good cafe on a lovely beach.
