“Slightly sloping shingle beach”
Reviewed 22 May 2014

The beach is horse-shoe shaped, scenic and, being a little further away from the town, seems a little quieter than its neighbours and is sheltered from a westerly breeze, by a headland, but includes marvellous views out across Falmouth Bay.
There is ample but not-free car parking and a Crazy Golf course, unfortunately shut on our mid-week visit. There is a good beach cafe, though, serving the usual sea-side treats.

“Nice little beach to escape to.”
Reviewed 19 May 2014

Nice if you want to be on a smaller beach with a little place to get bites and drinks from and a restaurant. Its a little rocky but still beautiful and well kept.

“Lovely beach - fun for children!”
Reviewed 26 April 2014

This beach is lovely and clean and there is also a cafe and toilets situated nearby. When the tide is out there are some rocks which are perfect seating and also great for the children to climb on! My daughter had a nice cream at the cafe which was served with clotted cream on top of the actual ice cream which she was surprised at! The crazy golf (which we didn't try) looked old and dated and didn't look very "crazy", as there were no obstacles by the looks of it. Overall pretty beach with good facilities.

“Great coastal walk”
Reviewed 10 April 2014

I highly recommend the coastal walk from Swanpool to Maeonporth. Really great views and secluded beaches.

“Great beach and good food at cafe”
Reviewed 3 April 2014

Lovely beach with car park right on the other side of the road. Great rock pooling for the children. Refreshments available but if you ordert a sandwich be prepared for a 40 minute wait, when your sandwich eventually arrives it will be delicious but you have probably lost your appetite by then.
