Great beach and bay, especially for kayaking. Pebbles but small and rounded. Car park across the road is £2.50 all day and includes a cup of tea. Crazy golf, bouncy castle, cafe, fish n chip shop, kayak and wet suit hire.

Lovely little beach for the kids gets very busy though. You can park across the road quite cheaply and free in the winter. Can sometimes get a lot of seaweed depending on the weather.

This is a tidy well maintained beach, which is quite sheltered. It is small so if over crowded I can imagine has not got the facilities to support it. There is a restaurant/cafe overlooking the beach and a little cafe on the beach although was not open for coffee at 10am! There is also a small place offering kayaks, wetsuits, deck chairs etc. for hire at what appeared to be the going rate.

Great little shingle /sand beach with an amazing Watersports School and Cafe. Blankets offered in colder months whilst sipping that hot chocolate! Amazing ice creams with clotted cream and then covered in Jelly Babies, Maltesers and Fudge pieces. Worth popping in for the ice cream!
Does allow Beach Barbecues but no fires.

We walked over the cliffs from Gyllyngvase to Swanpool and it's a very pleasant walk. The beach is very clean and on each occasion we have visited there have been school parties participating in a variety of water sports. The cafe is good. There is a lake with wildlife opposite the beach and it's is very pleasant to sit by that and watch the various birds and their young.
