We all went to the lifeboat station which is top of Fin and Jems list. They both loved it, the experience was brilliant and really informative. Thank you so much to the asst mechanic who gave us a real insight into the workings of the boat. A great experience for all ages. Even our granddaughter who was not impressed by going there in the first place found it enjoyable. Both grandsons and our son would love to live here so they could all be part of this great service.

A very informative tour of both the inshore and severn class lifeboats. Patrick, our guide was really knowledgeable about everything. All for free too!

A bit off the beaten track but well worth making the effort to go!

We attended with our two year old having read the reviews here.

Firstly it's free! Entry is via the gift shop so you'd have to be heartless not to make a purchase during your visit - there's plenty of gifts of all prices for children and adults.

There was nobody else visiting at the time we went but the staff were more than happy to just take us round. The tour was very informative and we got to go on the larger lifeboat (the all weather Severn Class) which is afloat in the harbour.

Unfortunately our two year old is not easy to please and so we had to rush things a bit but he did love actually going on the boat and sitting in the drivers seat. He even got a fun pack with and activity book in for free too!

Can recommend this and wish more lifeboat stations offered similar tours.
