“Wonderful gardens, great cafe”
Reviewed 22 June 2014

Of all the gardens in Cornwall, this is amongst the best. We stayed for several hours and if I lived in Cornwall I would become a a member. The plants are awesome, the walking excellent and the beach area unspoiled, quite exquisite. I love the fact that this place is dog friendly as well, the National Trust could learn so much from the way this is run. We had a splendid lunch here and later on an afternoon tea. The food was all of excellent quality with plenty of health options.

“Well worth visiting”
Reviewed 22 June 2014 via mobile

Visited the gardens the day before 70th anniversary of D-Day landings and had no idea the Trebah Estate was so heavily involved in those events. Garden is beautifully laid out and some amazing plants and shrubs. Dog friendly and a well set out canteen and refreshment area, selling locally sourced food and drink which was great, always prefer local produce when you can find it. Will certainly be back, oh and if you cannot make it all around in one day, your ticket will allow you a free return visit within 7 days, which is exremely "user friendly" nice thinking.

“Wonderful gardens”

Travelled there from Helford by crossing the river by ferry and walking up the lanes to the Gardens. Beautiful setting reaching down to the beach (with ice-creams for sale). Gardens are lovely and are dog friendly. Relaxing time wandering through the gardens.

“Just a wonderful place”
Reviewed 17 June 2014

I just love Trebah and have probably been at least a dozen times. My friends in Cornwall know without asking that these gardens have to be on the weeks itinerary. This time coincided with bluebell season and it was just spectacular
We have done the top walks and the lower walks depending sometimes on weather and sometimes on energy!
I am always moved by the nostalgia of the American troops who left the tiny beach for the D-day landings, many of whom never returned home
The facilities are good although I am not sure about the café on the beach. This is probably because I want to hold the memory of the troops. We always have a cup of tea and share a cake in the excellent top café, have a look round the shops and go home happy. And then there's always the next time!!
