I stayed here in order to attend a wedding in Falmouth. The location is convenient and the parkingwas not a problem. The lobby, dining room etc. are beautifully decorated but our room was comfortable but frankly a little shabby - grotty grouting in the bathroom and dated furniture. Take your ear plugs as the room was a little noisy (at the front of the hotel). The breakfast was excellent and the staff really friendly and helpful; these aspects were worth 4 stars but the slightly shabby room really let the hotel down. Overall a pleasant place to stay and I would return.

Room Tip: ask for a room at the back if noise bothers you

Stayed for 3 nights in a 1st floor front room (no4). On the the first morning after breakfast I asked if we could extend our stay beyond Saturday morning but unfortunatly it was full!
Great location with views across the Marina and the main road. The greating and attention from all staff was excellent at all times. The breakfast would grace any 4* for both quality and service. I overheard a young visitor state to his father ' only one more wonderful breakfast before we go home" I coundn't have put it better myself. The room was very comfortable and and had a double and a single bed with two proper chairs that made to great to sit with the window wide open and enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the world go by. I big plus was having Rick Stiens' superb fish and chip takeaway and sit down restraunt ( my wife had battered scollops & chips which was as good as my Hake). We also got into the Fish Bar upstairs for our final evening (you need to book) it was great a Tapas style menu which was superb (salt and pepper squid was my top dish). Super place only down side was the en suite was small but adequate and the pluses make the compromise well worth while. Thank you and Well done all The Grove Team.
