“Perfect Location to discover Falmouth”
Reviewed 11 October 2010

Travelling with my husband and my go getting 80 year old mother the location of the hotel was fantastic. It is over the road from the carpark for the maritime museum and it is on the high street enabling us to walk to the lovely shopping district which included all the pubs and restaurants. Plenty of stairs in the hotel but my mum had her room on the ground floor that had just been renovated. Perfect. The breakfast room was good and the service friendly. The location was perfect, we didn't have to drive anywhere except to drive my mum up to the fort on the hill which was great fun to explore. The parking was over the road in the carpark which was ok. Our room was quiet and clean and overlooked next doors garden - bonus. I would recommend the Grove Hotel to anyone.

This September was my fourth stay at The Grove. Geoff and Sian run a wonderfully friendly and comfortable establishment that is always a pleasure to stay at.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, breakfast superb (food and service), decor is top notch and best of all Geoff makes a cracking rum and coke :-)

I think that my title speaks volumes for this hotel. In a very busy time with a full hotel the host and staff were still able to make you feel like an individual. The room was excellent (pity about the Cornish weather), the breakfast really sets one up for the day.
Come and go as you please, spend time in the lounge, the bar, or your room at your own pace. No hassle to get you out of the room or the hotel, like home from home.

My 5-night stay at this friendly family-run hotel was a pleasure.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of hot and cold options. The room was very comfortable with a view of the harbour (I had single occupancy of a double room on the 2nd floor at the front).
I look forward to returning for another stay next summer.

Well, I lose count of the trips I've made to The Grove now, I think it is over ten years consecutively though, and Geoff, Sian and their team continue to deliver.

From the moment you check in, they are genuine in their welcome and warmth to evey guest, doing all that they possibly can to assist in making your stay there, and in Falmouth as a whole, a pleasurable experience. Don't be afraid to ask about things to do and places to go....

A modernised bar and lounge is extremely comfortable and pleasant to relax in, the breakfasts are always excellent and delivered by typically friendly staff. There is similarly no stone left unturned in the cleanliness of the hotel and the rooms each day.

I would highly recommend this to anyone staying in Falmouth for whatever purpose. Quiet weekends away for two or a family holiday, either will be well catered for; not to mention being ideally located for all Falmouth has to offer.
