Been to looe a few times before but have never visited millendreath we came down for a short break. The accommodation was very good and well layed out with two nice size bedrooms and a put you up settee as there was only two of us we had plenty room. The outside seating area was excellent with great views of the sea would definitely recommend and book again only downside was the weather.
Milledreath location is peaceful , and away from the hurly burly. The villas has wonderful views across the valley and the beach yards away. Looe is a short drive , or 30-40 minutes away via a engaging coastal walks.
Villa is well equipped, and comfortable for 4 people.
We had 2 Adults and teenagers , bedrooms are compact but we were fine.
Graeme ( owner) , very helpfully supplied information about the villa and local area a
plus use of wetsuits indoor games , and patio furniture .
Being originally from cornwall I was looking for a nice place to stay and recall my grandparents telling me about milendreath. So decided to look here.
Stumbled upon Graeme's hillside villa. Have to say this was a great find. All of the guests enjoyed it.
The villa was well stocked with everything you could need for a short break at the seaside. from boogie boards to ironing boards, you had everything you needed. (Except food and drink of course) but this could be bought/ ordered from the village shop.
The beds were very comfortable and I have to say the hidden gem of it all was the coffee table. If you are not feeling up to going out, grab a few beers/ciders and just lift the top off and see for yourself ;)
I would defiantly stay again.
Only downside I would say was I was a bit too tall for the shower, but can't blame Graeme as it's not his fault I'm tall.
Lovely area with its own sandy beach and views across to Looe island. Apartment has everything you could need and was perfectly clean no tidy. Found it very family friendly and the new bar over looking the beach is a great addition.
We stayed at villa 78 over the Easter break and couldn't have got a better apartment
It had everything you could need including games table which was a fab addition! Clean and comfy and a lovely terrace with sea views - we took advantage of the BBQ provided and enjoyed our freshly caught mackerel for lunch
This is a lovely part of Cornwall and the redevelopment at Millendreath beach is excellent! We really loved the new cafe and bar on the sea front. Nice walk into looe town along the coastal path - about 1.5 miles
Thanks again Graeme! Can't wait to come back!
