We stayed for a week in the beautiful and cosy Orchard cottage with our bernese mountain dog. The cottage was immaculate, welcoming and spotlessly clean. Everything had been so well thought of and provided. The garden was stunning and matched by beautiful reviews.
It is further away from the main facilities but it is perfect if, like us, you like the privacy and peace of a little bit of distance then this is the perfect cottage.
We met the owners on several occasions during our stay, who were welcoming and very helpful (we left a note on a Sunday night as the internet wasn't working and came back on the Monday to a lovely handwritten note to explain the problem and what was being done. Unfortunately BT didnt fix this during our stay but it was a lesson in turning off the computer, not a bad thing at all!)
The information in the cottage is brilliant and gave us some great ideas on where to go, what was dog friendly and why to avoid.
We cannot rate this highly enough and are just deciding on dates to book a two week return next year!!
Thank you all at Treworgey for a fantastic holiday and see you next year!

What a truly beautiful place this is! from the moment we arrived there was just peace and tranquillity, are key to the cottage was waiting for us on arrival on the cottage door so we didn't have to check in, it was very refreshing after a long drive, we stayed in willow cottage from the 4th - 8th May, the view from our cottage was astonishing, all green rolling hills ! with a fully stocked open fire place ready to go, and a welcoming tea tray laid out for us upon arrival, and Champaign and chocolates too as it was our honeymoon! it was just perfect! we found games and books and dvds in the games room and hid ourselves away, it was pure heaven, the cottage is so cosy with the most amazing view from the dining conservatory room, we were left in total peace and privacy the whole time, we ordered food from the room service option and it was just delicious! the kitchen has every amenity you could ever need, the bathroom was lovely with a wonderful shoer ver the bath and heated towel rail too, the bedroom was lovely with a set of french doors that open out onto the garden! just heaven! the whole cottage was spotlesly clean, fantastically comfortable and with the most stunning veiws! the location is perfect too just 5 mins drive into the center of Looe bay ! we sure will be coming back here!

We booked Treworgey after looking at literally hundreds of reviews of hundreds of cottage 'complex's in Devon and Cornwall. We wanted somewhere suitable for a family, with horse riding and was really nice.

Our cottage (Honeysuckle) was gorgeous and absolutely spotless, it has everything you need in the kitchen and was really comfortable. We booked a highchair and cot, both were clean and ready when we arrived. The bedroom was large enough for a cot without feeling crowded, however I think if we stayed longer than a week we would book a two bedroom. We found the water cooler than we were used to at home but they were so quick to deal with it and actually it got warmer over a couple of days.

We ordered food via Combe Kitchen for dinner on 3 days which was delicious, you get a very large serving so bear that in mind if you're ordering 3 courses or want something light. I think you can order a smaller serving if you like or for children. Our dinner was waiting for us on arrival in the fridge which after a long journey was perfect.

The horse riding was very good, I rode everyday and Rhi who runs the stables was very competant and welcoming. We have a horse and ride regularly so weren't looking for a riding school set up as such and this fitted perfectly. The lessons are short at 30 mins (although I am sure we had slightly longer than that on a few days), which if you're used to riding for longer might be disappointing. I was there to enjoy riding again and it was warm so 30 mins was fine for me but I think had I been fitter it may have been too short. I was matched with the perfect horse and had I been able to I would have bought him home. I would highly recommend here if you want to ride while combining it with a family break.

I know it seems like not much of a review to say everything was perfect but we had a wonderful first holiday as a family. We met people who had been going there for years and years, and you can see why. If you have children they will love it with all the animals and play area.

Oh and it is very hilly, but you get used to this!

Thank you so much for writing such a long review - we really appreciate you taking the time to do so and are delighted that you has such a great time in Honeysuckle.

Rhi, our riding instructor, works hard to find just the right horse for each person, so I'm glad she got it spot on with you! We tend to do half hour lessons in the arena as many people find there is a lot to take in, and progress is often better with a half hour lesson everyday than an hour lesson a few times. We do take guests out for longer sessions hacking - experienced riders can hack out for an hour and a half through woodland, crossing rivers and round the lanes.

Glad the children had fun with all the animals. We have lots of children coming to stay whose parents used to play here as children too!

Thanks again

It is amazing how much love and care not only the family, but all the team, put into making sure your holiday is all that you could wish for and more. We just returned from Orchard Cottage at Treworgey and would highly recommend it! Beautiful peaceful setting and the cottage was a very high standard and everything thought about even down to an excellent hairdryer! Will be recommending to all my friends. Highly recommend ordering home cooked food from Coombe Kitchen, we did this two evenings and it was lovely. So easy after a day of walking and sightseeing. Our lurcher Lucie loved it too, especially lounging in front of the log burner in the evenings - so warm and cosy. A wonderful stay and very peaceful. We also recommend the Plough at Duloe and also dog friendly. Thank you to all at Treworgey!

Just back from another fantastic stay at Jasmine Cottage,Treworgey. The cottages are always welcoming, warm and immaculately clean and we love the log burner in the evenings. Treworgey is a great place for children. Ours (age 7 and 9) were up every morning to do the animal feeding and made full use of the tennis court, games room and play area. Horse riding lessons and the 'own your own pony' afternoon were also a massive hit. Treworgey manages to provide all the amenities and facilities that you could want without disturbing the peace and beauty of the local area. They are the best holiday cottages that we have found and that's why we keep going back!

Thank you so much for taking the trouble to write a review. It's lovely for all the team at Treworgey to feel so appreciated! Your two children embraced Treworgey in a way that we just love to see - we often saw them running about, 100% at home in the outdoors and with the animals.

We hope to welcome you all back soon.

Best wishes
