We arrived on a Thursday evening for a long weekend, dropped the luggage off and then parked in the towns carpark in a pre booked space that came with the house & only a few minutes walk away. The house was spacious, spotlessly clean & extremely comfortable. The house had plenty of space for all of us with a sitting / dining room, a separate sitting room & a table and chairs in the kitchen. Two local stores selling all the basics less than a minutes walk from the house, a pub, café & the ferry across to East Looe less than 2 minutes away. The house has the advantage of been on the more secluded side of Looe yet within 5 minutes you have a fantastic choice of bars & restaurants and the beach is less than 10 minutes walk or half that if you use the ferry. Will visit Looe and the surround area again and will stay at Summercourt House as it location and facilities have everything you could possibly need.
Stayed here in May 2017 as a family of 7, (2 adults, 5 children), This house is perfect, the location was amazing 2 minutes walk from the Quay and 15 to the beach at Looe and 10 minutes to Hannafore Beach. House itself was spacious, with 2 living rooms, 4 bedrooms and a well equipped kitchen and utility room, Rooms were all ready for us, beds made and towels provided for everyone. House had a lovely patio with plenty of chairs and a lawned area where the children could play. We found it to be a proper home from home. The car parking is a 15 minute walk away at the main Millpool car park, and to be honest we used it once to stock up on shopping and it stayed there until we left the following week. Would definitely stay here again.
