We stayed in the family room with a private, adjacent (not en suite) bathroom for 2 nights in August this year. We didn't have a view as the room overlooked the rear of the house but this was not a problem for us. The room was nicely decorated with coordinating bedding & furnishings. There was a comfy double bed, 2 twin beds, sofa, wardrobe, sink, TV & drinks facilities in the room - it was a bit of a squeeze but had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The bathroom is in need of updating and redecorating but was perfectly adequate and functional for what we wanted. Sandra, the owner, was incredibly accommodating and went to lots of effort to make sure everything was good for us, including our various dietary needs, to the extent of sourcing the particular veggie sausages our son who has high functioning autism prefers. The breakfasts were beautifully cooked and set us up for the day. The property is set on a small terrace above the main road into Looe from Polperro. You can't park right outside so there is a bit of a walk with the luggage but Sandra kindly came out to direct us and help. There is plenty of parking in the Millpool carpark down a sharp drive nearly opposite Kantana which is free overnight and if you are lucky there are overnight spaces on the road below Kantana's entrance. It's a short walk over the bridge into East Looe where there is a harbour carpark and the main beach.
