Tregarland b&b is a working farm and the Landlady was far too busy with farm business to have any real time for guests. Our room had very basic tea making facilities but on the second morning the tea cups had not been replaced so I had to go downstairs in my pj's to find some, there were no tea facilities in the room my parents were staying in. The house was cold (think old stone walls) and there was no heating in the bedrooms, no radiators, open fire or any other type of heating. The covers were blankets (i was cold in the night) and the top bedspread cover was stained, the mattress was lumpy and uncomfortable (springs digging through.) There was a shared bathroom along the hall and the hand towel was thin, threadbare and rough, the shower did not get hot no matter how long you ran the water. The breakfast was very poor, thin cheap white sliced toast, the scrambled eggs watered down and bacon hard (no menu.) Very disappointing and a scandal to charge £60 a night for two.
