We first visited this restaurant in 2015 during our first trip to Looe... since then, this restaurant has been a driver for us to return to the area on a yearly basis, this year being our third stay in Looe!
The food is full of flavour and the chef (very talented Thai lady - Nigel's wife I believe!) isn't afraid to add a bit of heat to her dishes. Your special mussels (101?) are some of my favourite mussels ever, tom yum is delicious and your panang curry is phenomenal. (Just a few dishes to point out - however I haven't been disappointed by any of your dishes).
I'm quite surprised by some of the negative reviews for this place. I've always found Nigel (and his staff) accommodating and friendly. Nigel isn't a singing and dancing bubbly host, he's more of a quiet host who is more than happy to have a one on one chat. Perhaps those who are giving unfavourable reviews aren't so accommodating to individual personality types. Good news is that the majority of your patrons appreciate the service you are providing!
We can't wait to come back again next year for our honeymoon - keep up the high quality you provide!
see you guys in 6 months!
