Description: Our Restaurant is designed to give an authentic Thai garden ambience with lots of artifacts to enhance this. We have 30 covers inside and 8 on our outside Terrace. Our restaurant is cosy and friendly and we strive to welcome and put all our diners at ease. Our waiting staff are English and young. They have a detailed knowledge of Thai food and can help and advise on choices where appropriate. Our Chef is Thai and has a lifetime of experience in preparing and cooking her native food. While we welcome well behaved young children there is simply no room inside the restaurant for prams or pushchairs, so they will have to be left outside. If the restaurant is quiet we reserve the right to close early, it is always advisable to telephone in advance to make a reservation.

We first visited this restaurant in 2015 during our first trip to Looe... since then, this restaurant has been a driver for us to return to the area on a yearly basis, this year being our third stay in Looe!
The food is full of flavour and the chef (very talented Thai lady - Nigel's wife I believe!) isn't afraid to add a bit of heat to her dishes. Your special mussels (101?) are some of my favourite mussels ever, tom yum is delicious and your panang curry is phenomenal. (Just a few dishes to point out - however I haven't been disappointed by any of your dishes).
I'm quite surprised by some of the negative reviews for this place. I've always found Nigel (and his staff) accommodating and friendly. Nigel isn't a singing and dancing bubbly host, he's more of a quiet host who is more than happy to have a one on one chat. Perhaps those who are giving unfavourable reviews aren't so accommodating to individual personality types. Good news is that the majority of your patrons appreciate the service you are providing!
We can't wait to come back again next year for our honeymoon - keep up the high quality you provide!
see you guys in 6 months!

Having recently transitioned to a plant based diet for health reasons we were looking for somewhere which offered a variety of vegetarian options. We were not disappointed. With about 70 meals there was plenty of variety. We went for a tempura park, deep fried Thai vegetable starter which had beautiful sculptured carrots amongst other vegetables with a delicious sweet plum sauce.
For main course she enjoyed a delicately flavoured Gaeng Daeng red vegetable curry, choosing the mild flavour.
I tried a Pan Brian's Wan, stir fried sweet and sour sauce with pineapple, mushroom, green beans, tomatoes, pepper and onions. It was full of crunchy, fresh vegetables.
We washed it down with a very mellow local cider.
A very pleasant meal in a nice atmosphere for £33 for two.

Thank you to the lovely owners who made celebrating our anniversary even more special. The food was delicious and the menu included dishes that I had not seen before on a Thai menu. My tamarind prawns were beautiful, and the mixed starter was generous and varied. You came highly recommended by all the locals we spoke to and the atmosphere inside the restaurant was fabulous, really upbeat and friendly. It's clear you go the extra mile and it is appreciated. Thank you again, we will be back.

My first experience of Thai and certainly the best place for it. Authentic Thai cooking served with the utmost knowledge of the menu. A very varied and plentiful menu. Lovely restaurant with good ambience and very clean and presentable.

I hate to give a bad review as I realise that this affects an owner's business but I have to be honest as this is not an isolated incident. We have been to this restaurant (under it's current ownership) 3 times.. The last 2 times were at best average but we decided to give it another try based on the reviews but again we found the food lacked depth of flavour and the meat (chicken and beef) were tough. The owner was lacklustre when we arrived complaining that he had a staffing problem instead of greeting us with a smile!!. The outside of this property is extremely tired and unwelcoming. The awnings outside, which screen the couple of dining tables, are stained and dirty and does not inspire you to venture in.

This restaurant used to be fantastic when the previous owner (Martin) and his (Thai) wife ran it the food was addictive but sadly we will never go back as it is at best very average.
