Me and my wife stayed here with our two dogs for three nights at the end of July and found it very charming and a great base in a cracking little town. The rooms were clean, basic and had all that was needed, such as clean bedding and clean towels. We stayed in a dog friendly room which had a small decked area outside the french door, which lead to the fire escape. Our shower was great as it was made for real people ( I am a front row rugby player and I had ample space) and the bathroom was kept spotlessly clean. The breakfast was excellent with tasty sausage and bacon or whatever was required, and what was impressive is that it was NOT drpping in fat, it was clearly grilled and cooked really well and set you up a treat for the day. The landlord even slipped us a couple of sausages for the dogs every morning which was much appreciated by them!!
The landlord, Sammy, knew where to point us for the best parking, as already mentioned out on the Polperro Road, but only a couple of minutes walk from the guesthouse, and reasonable. I parked up for three days which cost only £14.
All in all a great little find.More
