Just got back from one of the best weeks camping ever. Bay view looks lovely online but in the flesh it is seriously gorgeous. Views of the fishing boats leaving Looe harbour, the Eddistone light and the Cornish coast disappearing into the distance make it a very tough view to match. The site itself is clean spacious and the facilities are everything we would ever need. Friendly owners and two lovely shire horses give the place a real homely feel. Free Wifi was a nice touch as normally have to pay on one of our other regular sites. We will be back.

We have just spent 2 nights at the BayView the pitch we were given was a great spot and the view was fantastic, the site is clean and well looked after. The showers and toilets are a good size and also very clean. 2 lovely Shire Horses and a very friendly collie. The walk down to Black Rock is a bit steep but only takes about 5 minutes, Looe is about a 50 minute walk away and is well worth it, the view along the way is beautiful. A really lovely camping and caravan site, no shop or no bar but who cares your camping you bring it all with you.

Having spent the last 2 days at Bay View I found everything wonderful. Everything was perfectly clean and maintained. And free WIFI a bonus. Mike is a great host making sure you have a great stay. Only downside if your not a walker it is a hike into Looe. But the view alone is worth the trip in itself

Basic facilities, miles from a shop, with no wifi despite advertising it. But the fantastic views and coastal walks more than made up for this though. Request to owners- please clean the toilets and sinks more than once a week! Would recommend the seafood platter in the Pilchard pub in Looe.

We have visited this campsite on many occasions this year and last year,The views are outstanding!, we enjoyed our stay that much that we decided to leave our caravan there permanently in Mikes storage. The owners Mike and Liz are extremely helpful and friendly, the prices are reasonable, and the site is well maintained, this site is very peaceful no pub / night entertainment and there is no noise at night time. There is a beach (blackrock sands) near to the campsite it is a 5 minute walk down a steep hill, the views on the way down are stunning, the beach itself is in the process of having a new holiday development there, the work what has been done so far is great, they have a cafe/ restaurant, surf board / kayak hire, great for the kids!. We feel honoured that we are able to visit this site on a regular basis, we think of it as our own little paradise. Thank-you Mike & Liz for sharing this with us.

Visited Looe last bank holiday weekend, as did many other campers though we did not feel cramped, there was plenty of space. Owners are lovely and friendly. Facilities clean and spacious. Location was perfect for what we wanted; somewhere where we didn't have to use the car, so close to the monkey sanctuary and a long lovely walk to Looe. Would loved to have been able to book the snugs, they looked amazing! Excellent prices too, cheapest we could find and did not compromise quality or location. Highly recommended this place to anyone and everyone.

Room Tip: Recommend a snug if you don't want to camp or it is cold!
