The ground floor apartment at 21 Mount Brioni was spotlessly clean & very comfortable. It is part of the east wing, built six years ago. Unloading at the front of the apartment then parking at the rear in a dedicated parking bay, with access to the back door via a flat surface, was very convenient. Furnished in a contemporary style with modern decor, the leather settee with reclining features encouraged relaxation. The property is south facing & we were exceptionally fortunate with the weather, so that we were able to have the folding doors open to appreciate the stunning views & the sound of the waves on the shore below. It was so quiet & peaceful we had to drag ourselves away to visit Looe & Polperro but relished returning to relax 'away from the madding crowd'! 'Waves' bistro was a favourite of ours for coffee on the balcony overlooking the beach & for excellent evening meals - but be sure to book! The quirky beach shack also served coffee & light meals, but closed at 5.00pm. The tiny shop in the Smugglers Inn was handy for milk & papers but get there early if you want bread.
Seaton itself is delightful for families who wish to enjoy natural surroundings without the hubbub of fairground type attractions.
