We stumbled across this great venue while walking down the main street in East Looe.
It looked a bit different to the other pubs and restaurants with their cheap looking hand written blackboards outside displaying the menus. The staff were very welcoming, attentive and friendly. The food was excellent and the fish and chips I ordered was probably the best fish and chips I have ever tasted and I normally go for lamb or beef. All our dishes were excellent (4 of us) and the bottle of Chilean Merlot was very acceptable and reasonably priced at £15. The young owner/chef has created a good restaurant here and he deserves to benefit from a thriving current and future business opportunity.

Having arrived in Looe after 2PM, we were looking for a suitable place to eat a late lunch. A number of places we looked at had either finished service or we didn't fancy. Then we came across The Courtyard tucked away off the main street and what a find! Young and helpful staff--one who turned out to be a part-owner and a good choice of food options. There were 4 of us and all chose different mains. None of us was disappointed and even with drinks (including a full bottle of Merlot) the bill was as pleasantly palatible as the food offering. A definite recommend for a very enjoyable brunch/lunch experience.

Stopped off here for lunch after wandering around trying to find somewhere that wasn't so busy ( didn't realise the Looe festival was on ). Stumbled upon this hidden gem! Great place. Lovely staff and good menu choice. Highly recommend and will def visit again if back in Looe.

We stopped for lunch with our dogs at the courtyard. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We both had fish and chips which was fresh and really tasty. The cafe was clean and tidy and not too busy. A really nice dog friendly place to visit.

This was your typical tourist rip off joint.I visited the courtyard with my auntie that lives onnthe area for 12.95 we ordered local fish and chips this meal wouldn't have fed a 5 year old it was also poorly presented and served by a miserable teenager that really couldn't be bothered..stay away total waste of money it wasn't even nice!
