Booked a table for two well in advance of our stay in Looe. When we arrived there were only a couple of tables occupied and we were quickly given the drinks menu.however that's when things came to a halt. Within minutes the place filled up and the two waiting staff simply couldn't cope. There was a barman who appeared briefly at one table which seemed to be singled out for special attention (came in after us and got served before us!) but he then disappeared. It took well over half an hour to place our order and then we have to wait for a long time for the food to arrive. When it did however the food was tasty, well cooked and delicious. It's just a real shame that this is secondary in our overall experience. I don't blame the waiting staff for the service, they were working as hard as they could but to only have two front of house people on a Friday night in the summer season seems ludicrous and penny pinching. Also no sign of any live music which is apparently one of the features of this restaurant.
