The property was one of the best we have stayed in, great condition, with really nice sea views with just a few minor 'issues' described below. There were 7 in our party, 4 adults and 3 children under 10 (plus 1 small dog). We had ample room and never felt like we were on top of each other like some places we have stayed in. There was a really nice coastal path from the property into Looe itself which was not short (or flat!) but was still quite pleasant. We were a little surprised when we arrived as the property was listed as having 2 parking spaces which turned out to be on a road outside the house. To be fair the description did say 'on road parking' but as it specified 2 cars we assumed there would be some specific area. As this was not the case its possible that the spaces directly opposite the property could be taken. The other main issue to note was that half way through our stay we noticed a dirty mattress topper on one of the beds my son was sleeping in, it was clearly stained with what we could only assume was urine from a previous occupant. We telephoned the agents who sent the cleaners straight down to change the sheets, its just a shame that for the sake of a £10 mattress topper, we had to experience this unfortunate situation. When the lady from the cleaning company was there we also pointed out a number of other minor issues, such as a loose patio slab on one of the steep garden steps and a large shard of broken glass at the side of the property. The lady was very apologetic and understanding and we thought that was the end of it. But the next morning we received a call from the agents 'Cornish Collections' who said that the stain was only 4cm and did not smell of urine and the the step was not dangerous. This was a shock as basically it felt like we were being called liars and that we were making too big a deal of it, which is not what we expect from a professional agency. Later that day 2 people arrived from the agency and things were discussed and resolved. Having said all that, the holiday was great, the property was 'almost' perfect and apart from this minor breakdown in customer service, a great time was had by all.
