We arrived a little early on Bank Holiday Monday and was pleasantly surprised by the welcome. Room are large modern and with view to die for.
Our room had everything we needed including tv and a bed to die for (best sleep ever).
Our hosts ( Ken & Tracey) were warm and friendly and we had a few drinks each night with them who told us all about the place.
This used to a pub but closed due to the access road being closed for a long time so the decided to renovate it in to a B&B only.
The transition to B&B only, has made this a truly beautiful place to stay. I like the fact that you can access your rooms without going through a house and it has more a feel of a hotel.
Breakfast was plentiful and although the place was not completely finished in no way did this spoil our stay. I'm defiantly going back and looking forward my next visit.
Parking right outside our room was a big plus as was the proximity to town.
Waking up each morning to that vista was like medicine to the mind.
Very highly recommended.

We booked this place because of the description and pictures on website. Sadly when we arrived we we told that the Bar/Restaurant was no longer open and that we could go to the hotel up the road if we wanted a meal or drink. Room was lovely but we decided not to stay and asked for a refund of deposit paid and was told to claim off the Booking Agent and as we had not cancelled within 48 hrs of arrival we would not get a refund. As we knew nothing of the reduced facilities before we arrived how could we cancel beforehand. Still waiting for refund.

When we arrived we were given a friendly greeting and shown to our room. We were very pleasantly surprised by the high standard of furnishing and decoration, the view out to sea was absolutely stunning. The breakfast made sure that we didn't need to eat until the evening and the owners / staff were very friendly. There is a really good seafood restaurant about 100 yards away (Sea Kitchen) so you don't really need to go far to enjoy excellent sea food. Anyone who has visited Looe will know that parking can be a problem but not at Tom Sawyers as there is ample allocated parking adjacent to the rooms. We will definitely be returning.
