The nicest Pasties in Looe, I even walk from the other end of town past 5 other pasty shops to get one, They also do amazing Chelsea buns and eccles cakes. Friendly staff as well. Well worth a visit.

My family have been visiting Looe for many many years.
I carry on the tradition of visiting Martin's dairy every time I visit Looe.
I can't help but stock up the best scones & clotted cream I have ever tasted. Let's not forget the amazing cornish pasties made at Martin's dairy, I honestly won't go anywhere else.
Don't bother with the 'chain' stores for pastries, for the best of the best you have to go here!!!
Little tip - cash only!

Big bakery just over the bridge over the Looe rivier. Main trade is as a bakery but there's about 20 seats iin a cafe setting there as well.

Scones are a bit too bready for my taste. Machine worked scones can get like that sometimess. Pasties are ok but not that special any more.

What ruins the cafe a bit for me is the constant noise of either the coffffee grinder or a lot of the bakery equipment. Combined with a tiled interior and there's a constant wall of noise. Prices are a bit high for what it is.

The first bakery by the bridge in East Looe and its the best for cream teas and pasties. They are a must to try and a definite to bring home with you as we always do. No visit to Looe is complete without a visit to them. A sign of a good bakery is the queue outside and the fact you need to be there earlier rather than later to make sure you get yours.
