“A beautiful Hotel, with a beautiful owner.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 August 2014

We booked three rooms at the hotel for our wedding in Looe, this month. From the moment I made the first call, Ella could not do enough to help. She sent information about local florists, photographers and hairdressers and when we arrived we were delighted to be offered her lovely car decorated in ribbons and flowers from the garden to take us to the wedding. She had decorated a table for the cake upon our return and gave us all champagne. Ella even saved the day when our bridesmaid's dress zip broke and Ella stitched it closed.
When I went to order flowers to say thank you, the florist said she was kept busy delivering to Ella at Trehaven, I could see why. Ella and staff made us feel very special for our amazing wedding in a beautiful location.
The hotel is beautiful, with classic furniture and a mix of oriental and english decoration.
The rooms are sumptuous, with soft beds and fluffy towels, hot powerful showers and roll top baths. The view is spectacular and I would recommend a room at the front to take it all in.
Each of the three rooms we had for two nights were perfect. The largest room for bride and groom was the most beautiful room I have seen. The photographs do not do it justice and they are wonderfully taken.
We had a comfortable night's sleep and only awoke when the seagulls announced their morning welcome.
The breakfast menu is superb, with something for everyone. While the boys enjoyed full english I enjoyed the vegetarian with tomato and cheese on english muffin with mushrooms, the girls enjoyed fresh baked croissants. The coffee was perfect and served with hot frothy milk.
We all had an amazing couple of days and would have loved to stay much longer. At least we get the excuse of returning regularly for our anniversary - despite a six hour drive to get there!

Room Tip: We had three rooms and would recommend all. The Dove room is beautiful and has amazing views over th...

A warm, very genuine welcome on arrival. Room was neat and clean with a great view of the river. If I had to sum up Trehaven Manor Hotel in one word it would be 'quality'. From your host, the surroundings, facilities and especially the breakfast........all quality.

Thank you Trehaven, we'll be back!

When choosing a hotel the things I look for are good parking, large room, well located for restaurants and sight seeing, wifi that works, views from the bedroom, quiet, clean, windows that open and a high bed. (I am old). If these are your some of your priorities then book with confidence.

Having read some of the other reviews I concur with everything good said about this hotel especially about the owners and managers. Ella is a wonderful host. She has the knack of making you feel that you the only guest and she goes way beyond what could normally be expected. As has been said by so many reviewers such things as tea and scones, lifts into and out of town and fresh croissants make this a visit to remember.

Our thanks to all the staff.

Angela and Clive

Thanks for everything, we had a wonderful stay. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff at this B&B. We booked two rooms between three guests. Everything was perfect, Ella went above and beyond, offering us tea when we arrived in the evening, lifts into town, and even dropped us off and picked us up late when we went to a wedding on the opposite side of town. She also recommended lots of lovely restaurants and things to do and I only wish we had longer to enjoy the sights. Everything with the room was perfect, lovely views, comfy beds, really clean and comfortable. If we ever come back to Looe, this will definitely be my first choice. Breakfast was spectacular, so much choice - full English breakfast cooked to order, croissants, fresh bread, and really good spread of tea, coffee, juices! Thanks again Ella, had a great time.

Could not recommend it more!

My husband and I stayed with Neil and Ella for our first anniversary, what a wonderful experience.
Ella is just wonderful and goes above and beyond, printing maps, offering to drive us to places for walks and the all important and very tasty scones on arrival.

Our room was lovely, so comfortable with a great view. Breakfasts were amazing, more then expected. Looe is such a wonderful village with so much to do, some great walks and restaurants we will definitely be back.

Our stay last week was as good as ever. Ella goes far beyond the call of duty with her attention to detail and helpfulness. The rooms are always immaculate, the breakfasts so well presented - we had a fantastic week as always and will be back again.
