Stayed her for 2 nights. A delightful place, spotlessly clean. we stayed in 2 different rooms and both were excellent. The terrace which looks over the river was fantastic. During our stay it was our anniversary, when we came down for breakfast Colin and Liz had got a helium balloon for us - such a nice touch. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

Room Tip: Rooms 4 and 5 both have good views over the river and the town. Room 5 is bigger and has a bigger e...

What a great find - using Tripadvisor -
Turned up and was weclomed by Colin and Liz the owners with an arrival pot of tea and buscuits.
Our room was number 4 (there's only 9 rooms I think) and although it had a small bathroom was spotlessly clean and the view over the moored up boats on the river was fantastic.
Breakfasts are great, selected from a menu the night before and everything is cooked fresh in the morning and large enough portions not to need lunch out.
Colin and Liz are great hosts and nothing is too much trouble.
If I had to find a negative it was probably the fact that the bathroom extractor stayed on too long once the bathroom was used at night - therefore keeping us awake - but that really is scraping the barrel to find a fault with this place.
I'd certainly be booking this place up again in the future.
Be warned about the parking though - because of the narrow streets you can only load and unload your stuff outside thye hotel for 15mins - then you have to leave your car in the local car park which is only 2 or 3 minutes away but does cost around five pounds for 24hrs from the time of purchase - but free from 6pm to 9am. Again - do not let that put you off as pretty much every hotel in Looe has that same problem.

Room Tip: Request a river view - probably one of the best views I've ever had in a B&B or a hotel - w...

Our latest weekend stay at The Old Bridge House was fabulous. Colin and Liz could not have been more hospitable and nothing was too much trouble. On arrival we were warmly welcomed, offered tea or coffee and then told all about Looe, parking, restaurants, etc. Our room (room 4) was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated with fantastic views over the harbour. The breakfasts were amazing and certainly set us up for the day. A lovely balcony overlooking the harbour was perfect for an early evening drink from the "honesty" bar. As it was our anniversary, Colin and Liz made our stay very special. Thank you Colin and Liz for making us feel so at home and we look forward to coming back. Steve and Claire, Cambridge

We don't normally write reviews, however, our recent weekend stay at this guest house was exceptional.
A warm welcome, spotlessly clean, fantastic harbour views ( we stayed in room 6 ) and a beautifully presented breakfast that set us up for the day.
Nothing was too much trouble for Liz and Colin who take a lot of pride in their establishment.
Their team effort in making our stay a very enjoyable one was second to none.
Our only regret was that we hadn't booked a longer stay.
Needless to say, we would not hesitate to return again and hope to do so in the near future.

Absolutely lovely. Colin is a great host, and from the welcome to the departure makes you feel like part of the family.

The B&B is very well presented and has an abundance of glorious fresh flowers everywhere. The breakfast room is beautiful and leads onto a small balcony which overlooks the harbor. Fantastic setting, and a glorious place to start the day, along with one of the best breakfasts we've had!

The breakfasts on offer were very varied, and ranged from lovely fresh fruit to cereal to toast to full English, and the rest! Lovely fresh coffee (and tea) constantly being topped up by the brilliant (and unobtrusive) hosts.

There is also a lovely "honesty bar" off the dining area. Well stocked, and you merely write down what you have and it will be added to you bill at the end of your stay! Lovely touch!

We stayed in room number 3 on the first floor - the room is lovely. Everything is clean and ironed, and feels very welcoming. Lovely touches include a door stop (first time we've had this!), a fridge, luggage mats so that your suitcases don't get the bed linen dirty, stand for hairstraighteners (always a problem!), a safe in the wardrobe, etc. The list is endless!

Another nice touch is the bedside lamps which have varying degrees of brightness depending on your requirements.

The bathroom is great and the shower glorious (we rate it 11 of out 10).

Overall, we will DEFINITELY be back. Fantastic B&B, fantastic hosts, and fantastic location!

Room Tip: If possible ask for a room overlooking the harbour, as it is well worth it. Also to be noted - there...

This was the perfect place to stay in Looe, just across the bridge from the main street, so wasn't noisy at night, and only a short walk across the bridge to the shops, pubs and restaurants. the interior was clean and tidy and nicely decorated. the bedroom we stayed in (room 9) had a good view of the Quay. our bathroom was a bit on the small side, but well equipped.
The dining and bar area were comfortable, and a good choice of breakfasts and drinks were on offer. Our hosts were very helpful and made our stay as pleasant as possible.
There is no car park, but the main Looe car park is only a few minutes walk, and the fees were reasonable.

We would definitely stay here again.
