“Birthday treat”
Reviewed 11 August 2014 via mobile

Was taken there by my other half as a birthday treat. The food was gorgeous and was hot, well presented and very tasty, would definitely recommend, especially if a seafood lover which other half is. I had the steak and I very much enjoyed it. The staff we're welcoming and catered for all our needs.

“Good new venue for Looe”
Reviewed 5 August 2014

Went with family for dinner. Restaurant is bright & airy with amazing views of the sea. Most of the food was very nice although some of the fish a little overcooked which was a shame. Service was fair. House wine excellent. Value for money fair.

“Good food, lovely view.”
Reviewed 1 August 2014 via mobile

Visited here after a recommendation from a friend, he wasn't wrong. Visited during lunch time, all the food was freshly made. I had the crab sandwich, probably the nicest I've had in a long time. It's worth the walk from east Looe to west Looe. I will be back soon.

“Dont miss this place if you are going to Looe.”
Reviewed 29 July 2014

Easy to spot a team who is led not managed and work together because they love what they are doing. Then add expert knowledge of local land and sea seasonal produce with great cooking, good well priced wine and you get this remarkable place with the most amazing sea views. I don't have a wide enough vocabulary to accurately describe how much we enjoyed eating lunch and dinner there but we will be back as soon as we can. Only suggestion is consider making your own fries?

“Eating next to a garbage truck (not that the manager cares)”
Reviewed 29 July 2014 via mobile

Recommend that you avoid this place - the seafood platter was the worst I've ever had and consisted of just-defrosted prawns, some fried prawns in-shell, more prawns (pan fried) sitting on top of battered fish (so making it soggy) and smoked salmon (clearly just out of another packet).
The manager was busy standing on the bartop doing noisy DIY throughout our lunch. We had to leave after the malodorous garbage truck (see photo) had been parked outside for 15 minutes (not that the manager seemed either apologetic or even bothered).
