Owner description: A 5.4 mile moderate coastal walk along the South West Coast Path taking in a holy legend, a 6th century monastery, an 18th century eccentric and a 19th century engineer. There are rockpools on the beaches, remnants of shipwrecks, tales of smugglers, and the walk ends with a stroll up through the picturesque fishing village of Polperro to Crumplehorn, where you can catch a bus back to Looe.

lovely walk - some very steep parts especially talland bay area in and out. Further on nearer to Looe, where the cliff path has been damaged also new path takes you up some steep stairs and of course back down! but good none the less.

Thank Dxmas

You can take a boat over and then walk back. Great sea views. Beautiful countryside. Can stop at Talland bay for an ice cream.

A very pleasant walk that is probably easier from Polperro. We caught the bus to Polperro that has a charm of its own & enjoyed a very scenic walk back to Looe.

Great little town. I would advise to use the tram as its such a long walk back up the hill. The shops are quaint and the view is amazing when you reach the bottom. I would recommend visiting Polperro for the day whilst staying in Looe.

We took it easy and looped back around after a break at Talland bay, returning to Looe by walking along the river, it was almost like something out of an African safari with the tide out and nothing but trees filling the river banks up over the hills.
